  I haven't made one, but this is a good reminder to try and get bulbs now while they are still out and on super clearance!  thanks:)  I want to give them as gifts next year!

  I made one for my mom, using different size bulbs (the smaller ones are good for getting into some of the crevices that occur with bigger bulbs).  I feel like I used somewhere between 50-75, but I don't remember because I did it over a year ago.

  Here are the 2 wreaths I made this year.

  For this one, I used 50 ornaments.

  

  

  For this one, I used 35 ornaments.

  

  Here's a little advice, I figured out along the way.  If you're planning on putting the wreath outside, get shatter proof balls.  Hot glue the stems to the ball if you can.  I didn't do that to the 1st wreath & lost a couple balls during bad weather.

  Also, make sure the holes on the stem of the ornament is big enough to thread the ball through.  It makes life a lot easier.  This was the case with the 1st wreath, but not the 2nd.  I had to use floral wire to tie each one to the coat hanger.  What a PITA.
