Intro from an Ashevillian
Hi there
I haven't posted on these boards yet (actually I've hardly posted at all since the knot days!) so I thought I'd introduce myself. My name is Cortney and I have just recently become a North Carolinian again after living in TN for 4 years during college. Are there any other Asheville girls on the board? Or anyone in the WNC area?
Re: Intro from an Ashevillian
I just moved to Asheville actually
Where in TN did you go to school if you don't mind me asking? I lived in Nashville for three years.
Thanks for the welcomings! We're excited about being back in North Carolina. I grew up in the state so it definitely feels like home. We're going to be looking for our first home here in the next couple of months...yay!
And I attended East Tennessee State University, audamy, but I had friends that went to MTSU so I'm very familiar with Nashville area!
Oh, I almost went to ETSU for grad school but I ended up at Vanderbilt in Nasheville instead.
How long have you been in Asheville?
I work for Buncombe county schools but I'm based out of the central board of ed office. I got the call earlier today that we're closed tomorrow as well, which is fine with me because there's no way my car will make it out of our little lane right now. I think there's probably about 9-10" of snow out in our yard between today and what we got on Saturday.
Did you guys get hit with much wherever you are in town?
