Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

I'm guilty too- I left work at 12 on Tuesday to take May to the dr (ear infection) and was home yesterday b/c my sitter had the flu. I've gotten a lot done so far this morning!

Just got in the office a little bit ago. Have scarfed my lunch down (I'm having a hungry day) and have a few emails to catch up on. Not too crazy busy today, although we do have a client coming in this afternoon, so I actually had to dress up today!
My co-worker cracked me up, I'm wearing a dress, so I'm sure I look like a house. When she first saw me she started giggling and was like ok, do you want me to say? I knew where she was going.....she was like, you look really big today! lol.....luckily I like her and it really doesn't bother me.
Larissa- even with my Knot/Nest hiatus, I still remember all that drama with your SIL. I'm glad things are good between you! I am not at all surprised she was stressed- I would have been, too. I'm glad work is going well and your client was actually a)grateful and b)polite enough to tell you!
Heather- Some people can get away with that. And yeah, what is it with dresses making you look super big? I saw a picture of myself from the end of July at a wedding when I was...7 1/2 months? And I looked like I was about ready to pop in that picture! It blows my mind I actually got bigger than that!

since we were closed for almost 2 weeks there was a lot to catch up on. was also sending my boss to cali for a week and it was a nightmare trying to finalize that trip. she's flying out there today so i'm a lot less stressed
BUT my temp starts jan. 24 (ugh!) so i really need to get cracking on preparing for her arrival...
Dude...I've been in meetings since 11 AM with our biggest customer/investor big wig talking about product roadmap (yay for boss man being out and me and another PM and a clinician) jumping in... went well...went AWESOME when I demoed new feature functionality that my team designed...whooop whooop...I'm exhausted now and need a nap...but I'm still going to go to the gym first and just crash early tonight.
whew...i didn't take a damn breathe writing that...
I've been lurking but not really posting much.
I spent most of the morning catching up on applications [i had like, 60 to look over and enter this morning], and now I get to make address labels and send them out. I still have some other things to catch up on, but the list is finally getting smaller.
I'm starting to get a headache and want to pop these contacts out and put on my glasses, but I haven't had a chance to pick up my new glasses yet [my old ones don't fit right, so I only wear them at home], so I'm stuck in contacts. On the bright side, I got sweet tea and chili for lunch, and it was delish. :P
