I don't like when

Calorie Counter.com tells me "Uh oh, you've gained 22.5 pounds since your last entry."   Awesome.  Mind you my last entry was right before I found out I was pregnant over a year ago.  Ah well, guess I have some work to do to get rid of this pre-preg weight.  Thanks for judging me, calorie counter!  And also, is it wrong that I've decided I either need to exercise longer or cut way back on my portion at dinner just so I can have a glass (maybe two) of wine?  Ha ha!

Re: I don't like when

  • Oh no, that's not nice at all. I also hate it when the Wii Fit questions why you have gained even 1lb (with options of "I ate too much" or "late night snacking", rather than "I am about to get my period and have PMS, so back off!") and then doesn't say anything when I lose a pound of 2.

And no, I don't think that is wrong at all. I totally play games with Lose It! and will manage my exercise and food to be able to fit in certain things. I've even been known to play Wii for 30 minutes to burn 100 calories to free up more calories for a dessert. ha!

  • I am so glad that I do not have a Wii and that I am counting calories and points in my own made-up spreadsheet.  Those comments would be enough to send me straight to the chocolate cake!

And I love that we all try to play with the numbers so that we can fit something "naughty" in.  For me, I would never be able to stick with a plan that was too rigid, which makes the whole points thing a good choice for me.

  • When I was counting calories, I always made room for two (sometimes three) glasses of wine!  Of course, that was before kids...I'd probably just make room for one now, but I would definitely make room!!

Nice, M&M!  Some people have their chocolate, for me it's wine!

  • I haven't stepped on my Wii Fit since I have gotten pregnant.  I am scared because I honestly might throw something at the TV when it tells me that I am obese, am a slacker and need to lose some weight. No Shxt *** tracy, do you think I don't already know this? (now sticking spoon in peanut butter jar) Big Smile

  • I love my Wii Fit, but it needs a pregnancy setting! Yes, my balance is off and I am gaining weight.  STFU Wii fit!!

  • This is the exact reason why I stopped using my Wii Fit during my pregnancy.  It kept telling me "you are obese".  No, you stupid machine I am not!  I am creating another human being! PffffT!

  • Before I got pregnant, I would save most of points for booze when I owuld go dancing with the girls...so no worries about a glass of wine. I didn't buy the Wii for that reason and was so happy when xbox come out with the Kinect.
