Bodybugg

I am in love...with a Bodybugg. : ) If you don't know what they are, they are this little thing you strap onto your arm, and it tracks every single calorie you burn throughout the day, even when you sleep. Plus, the website you use has a food journal part, that lets you know if you have burned enough calories to make up for the food you ate, plus lose some. It is what they wear on the Biggest Loser. I have been using it all this week, and am sickly addicted. It also tracks how many steps you take, and it puts it on a chart to show how many and when. I took 10 steps during an hour at work yesterday. How sick! : (

I love it because it incorporates dieting, but it also more pushes the fact of eat how you are going to spend your life eating, just learn how to move more to make up for it. Because you can't spend your life on a diet, but you can spend actually standing up and moving around more! : ) I got mine off of ebay for WAY cheaper than they sell it for in stores. Definately worth looking into.

Re: Bodybugg

  • Awesome!  I looked into getting one of these years ago but the price tag was a bit much!  I've always been interested to see how much I actually burn in a day.  Keep me posted as to how it's working for you!

  • I'm with Mel, I would love to have one, but cannot fathom spending that much money on it. I was actually really shocked when I looked into it and saw what the price was, plus the online fees.

I hope it works for you and keep us updated, because I'm curious.

  • well, i actually got mine off of ebay for ninety bucks, and as far as the online thing goes, i signed up and was never prompted for any type of payment at all, so that must be free for six months or something...by the way, sorry for the crappy editting. my droid doesnt let me capitalize or use any special characters on here.
