Re: Happy Friday!

  • I'm about to drive down to my Moms for my baby shower tomorrow! yippee :) I have a few errands to run down there today and I'm going to get a pedicure. After the shower tomorrow, I'm going to drive home and we have our next hypnobirthing class on Sunday.

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

  • Aw, have fun at your shower, Kristen!

After work, I'll probably go to the gym after work, assuming my nausea (which this morning, I woke up to "I'm baaaaaaack" ugh.) goes away.

Tonight, i think H and I are staying in.

Tomorrow, I will probably go to the gym, I want to see if my sister wants to run some errands w me...maybe go to dinner tomorrow night w/ some friends...not sure.

Sunday...my girlfriend and I are going to lunch & getting manicures...aaah..my nails need it in a bad way.

  • Today: Work until 5...still have tons to catch up on, which is annoying, but I hope to get caught up today. I'm currently eating a Milky Way to get through the morning. JJ and I will have our weekly dinner out tonight, hang out at home and just chill.

Tomorrow: Headed to OKC to have lunch with my sister and go to the Commissary for grocery shopping. Meeting up with my mom tomorrow night for the Thunder game, and I think JJ and I are gonna stay at my sister's place after since the game won't be over until around 10pm, putting us home after 11pm.

Sunday: Breakfast with my sister, then heading back to Stillwater for cleaning, meal planning, coupon clipping and laundry. Need to find some weights so I can really start hitting my workouts...the bridesmaid dress I need to get in come April is still a little too small.

  • Tonight is the night. Baby girl is going to sleep in her crib. I am guessing it is going to be a long night of being up a lot. But, it has to happen some time!

Tomorrow we're going to lunch with my bff on the way to the big city to do some returns. I also want to go to that store with the baby bows that Heather was telling me about. Super excited! Also getting a whole-house humidifier..much needed.

Sunday- church (our church) for the first time since baptism (we went to IL's church on Christmas). I'm a little (a lot) embarrassed when we go that long in-between, but we have been traveling every weekend since then.

Good luck tonight! JJ did pretty well in his crib for awhile, started having breathing issues, and we started co-sleeping [and still co-sleep until we get his big boy bed within the next few weeks]. I know it can be nervewracking, but I hope everything goes OK!

  • Hi All!!

    Kristen have a great shower!

J sorry to hear you're feeling crappy...

Ebonie have a nice dinner out w.JJ tonight-

M- good luck on crib night #1 w.Miss May!

Tonight- heading to the gym after work.  Prob do a 4-ish mile run.  Might do a class...depends when I get out of here.  H and I are just hanging in tonight, leftover lasagna is on the menu.

Ugh I know what we have to do.  We booked our trip to FL for Chris' cousin's wedding for the WRONG WEEKEND.  Friggin dumba$$es.  It was originally the weekend we booked, but was changed when they finalized around August.  Well, when we went to book we looked at an old email.  Sooooooooo now we have to select new flights, call expedia, and pay a $300 change fee.  Ughhhhhh.

Sat - teaching in the AM.  May go for a run in the early afternoon if there's not too much snow with Chris and our tough mudder teams. Then I want to get our Christmas crap down and away.  Friends are having people over so we might stop in for a bit.

Sun - gym, cleaning/ groceries, etc.  Nothing too exciting!

  • more unpacking, organizing at the house. DH really wants to get the crib put together. we need to finish our registry.

i need to return a few things from christmas yet, and run a few errands.

cleaning, laundry, grocery shopping, paying bills, etc. will be mixed in there. it's so annoying that i have to rely on DH to carry the laundry basket down to and up from the basement for me - grrr!

ETA: putting away the few christmas decorations that we have up.

kristen, have fun at your shower!

melissa, hope may's first night in her crib goes well!

  • We have my grandmom's surprise 80th birthday celebration tomorrow and I fly to Seattle on Sunday.

This should be a really fun weekend!

    imageimageimage
  • Hope you get lots of great stuff! Bergen County court this morning, bow Hudson County court... in the snow. Nothing tonight. Work 1/2 day tomorrow, then get my remote starter installed! Nothing the rest of the weekend.
  • We have Christmas again this weekend. My siblings all spent Christmas with their in-laws, so it's the first time we can all get together to exchange gifts. My cousin is getting married tomorrow night just a few miles away from me, so we're going to have 8 adults, a 2 year old, a 1 year old, and an almost 1 year old in our 850 square foot apartment tomorrow. At least they aren't all sleeping here. My brother's family is staying with friends; my parents are coming in the morning and staying with us tomorrow night; and my sister's family is making a day-trip of it, but they were supposed to stay with us tonight until my BIL changed his mind yesterday.

None of my family will be able to come next weekend for Nate's birthday, so we're doing that with them tomorrow as well (just cupcakes and gifts, not a whole party). So tonight I'm making cupcakes and arranging our living room to accommodate more people. Tomorrow, family's all here, we'll do Christmas and birthdays (yesterday was my bro's bday) then go to my cousin's wedding. Sunday, we have church, then lunch with my brother's family and my parents, hang out with them until they have to go home.

  • Have fun at your shower Kristen!!!!

Today:  It's snowing in NJ.  I'm off of work today!  I had a Dr's appt this morning and then a vet appt for our dogs.  We were supposed to have a kitchen contractor come today to give us an estimate, but he had to cancel due to snow.

Tomorrow:  Working from home until 3PM.  UGH colleges and Saturday hours:(

Sunday:  No plans.  Hopefully finishing up some window casing around the house if we can get out to get the wood.

  • Edit: Tonight I'm going to DSW for snow boots. This is ridiculous.
  • Tonight: Watch a movie, not sure what else

Tomorrow: Drive to the Coast for my 100 yr old Grandma's memorial (She passed away Dec 31), also shop for a ceiling fan and a Lazy-Boy.  Stay overnight at DH's best friend and his wife.

    Sunday: Drive home.

March 09 Siggy Challenge image Melting Snow... because it means that spring is actually on the way and it's not snowing or cold.
  • I hope you have a great time at your shower Kristen!

Today has been a lazy day for me.  Woke up at 5:30 to pee and COULD NOT fall back asleep.  H's alarm went off at 5:45, poor guy has been up early quite a bit this week.  I think I finally dozed off about 7ish?  Woke up at 9:30 and finally forced myself to get up at 10.  What a waste of a morning!

So, I have the last load of cloth diapers in the wash right now, just organized the baby's room and realized I need to sterilize a few bottles and pacifiers, wet wash a few little items and get my hospital bag packed.  Oh and we need to install car seat bases.  Hopefully we can get this done in the next week.

Tonight - hit up Babies R Us to get a baby book and I need to pick up two other gifts for gals that are both due within a month after me.  Hopefully get pizza somewhere Smile

Tomorrow - my small group is putting on a baby day for the 3 of us that are pregnant!  I'm so excited, starts off with pedicures, then off to Glazed Expressions for drinks and pottery making (I'm sure mine will be decorated with stick people since I have NO creative bones in me whatsoever), then off to dinner.  Will be so much fun!

Sunday - church, then who knows?  Hopefully chill w/H and the pups.

Good luck on the crib transition!  Have fun shopping tomorrow, will you be stopping at Trader Joe's?  We still haven't made it out there, maybe I can talk H into that tonight as well....

Oh and I hear ya on the missing church part.  We are known to miss at least one, sometimes two weekends a month and I always feel so guilty!

H is not impressed with Trader Joe's, so I doubt it! I was at Kirkland's last month and I almost went to TJ's but it was TERRIBLE weather and I had the baby and I didn't want to walk her over there in the cold and wind.

  • Looks like I'm going to be spending the weekend snowed in, so far we have about 6 inches and the heavy stuff isn't suppose to get her until at least 8pm.
  • I'm very late because we ended up spending most of the day in the doctor's office and then the ER with Amelia.  Luckily, she's just fine.  She's got a nasty cold that has her very congested and wheezing; the doctor was worried about her oxygen levels, so hence the ER visit.  Once we got to the ER her oxygen levels were back up to normal, so luckily it turned out to be just a visit.

Tomorrow:  Staying in with little Miss Sicky.  Hopefully, get some work done around the house - laundry, dishes, all the fun stuff.

Sunday:  Nothing planned.  We're supposed to get bad weather for Texas.  Definitely going to be cold and rainy, but weather people can't decide if it's going to snow or ice.  Much more then a dusting of snow and Texans freak out.  (I'm not a true Texan so I can say that. Stick out tongue)

Poor kid!  I hope she feels better fast!

Thanks!  After getting her nose suctioned out twice and the various breathing treatments she seems to be doing much better.  And I'll be able to sleep much better now that the rattle in her chest is gone.
