Re: QOTD

  • Most of the time, yes.  If he's up playing video games until ungodly hours, then no.  But I'd say that 99% of the time we go to bed together.

  • Also most of the time. Josh has night owl tendencies, though, so once a week he'll come to bed late after watching a movie or doing some work.
  • Almost never. I usually like to stay up later, so I'll watch TV on the couch for a bit and eat some snacks. Lately, though, I've wanted some alone time with my nice cold sheets, so I crawl into bed super early while DH does work in the living room. It's been great to get a good hour of relaxation without DH breathing down my neck. He likes to lounge on me and I can't stand it lately.

  • Usually only on the weekends.  During the week, I stay up about an hour after he goes to bed.  I kinda like the alone time sometimes.  I want to start going to bed earlier though, so maybe we'll start going to bed together.

  • No, but usually not too far apart.  We watch the news, then I pack it in.  He'll do the dishes and then come to bed, so maybe a half an hour apart.  I'm usually still awake when he joins me.

  • 95% of the time we climb into bed together, but I am usually the one out cold way before him.  He likes to stay up and watch TV.  If we don't climb in bed together, he is usually downstairs quietly playing his electric guitar.

  • We generally do. There are the occasions when one of us decides to stay up late for whatever reason, but we generally go to bed within 10-15 minutes of each other.
  • We used to when we worked similar hours. I know have a 2 minute commute and go in at 10 so I stay up a lot later. I'm trying to work on that though and go to bed earlier so I can get up and get things done before work.

  • for the most part we do. If one of us is more tired then we will both go to bed and the one that isn't tired yet often sits in bed with a laptop for a little while. I am one of those people who doesn't like going to bed without my husband.

  • On weeknights we always go to bed at the same time. We watch the news together in bed and then go to sleep. Everyone once in a while on the weekends I'll stay up a little later than him.

  • lately, yes. since DH got new working hours, we now get up around the same time, and therefore he can stay up later with me now and watch TV. even though we go to bed together, I generally stay up later than he does because it takes me a while to fall asleep. I usually either turn the TV on or turn on my bedside lamp and read a book. that lucky bastardd falls asleep as soon as his head hits the pillow.

  • Yep, 99% of the time.

  • Sort of, I always fall asleep on the couch watching t.v. with him and then he wakes me to go up stairs to brush my teeth and go to bed.

  • We usually do go to bed together. Most of the time one of us falls asleep on the couch and the other will wake sleepy head up and we both go to bed together. Russ sleeps way more than I do. When he gets home from work after his 2 weeks he goes to bed at around 2pm and won't wake up until around noon the next day. He's usually the one passed out on the couch before the kids go to bed.

  • We used to, more or less. Lately though, I've been going to bed earlier while he stays up until the usual time.

  • Yes, almost every night. We both have to wake up at about the same time so we are usually in bed at about 10. The only time we don't go to bed together is when he has a lot of homework or studying, then he will stay up later than me.

  • We do. We always have, it just kind of happened. Sometimes it takes me a bit ot fall asleep, so I read or play on my phone, but he's out the minute the lights go out.

  • Only on the weekends. DH works the swing shift at his job so he doesn't get home until 11pm. I usually stay up for a while after he gets home, but he stays up playing video games or watching TV. Sometimes I miss the old days when we worked the same shift and we would eat dinner together, go to bed together, and get up at the same time in the morning. I think I'm used to it now though and I fall asleep better without him in the bed!
  • Usually.  We live in an open-concept loft, so it can be tough to fall asleep in the "bedroom" (a little nook from a converted elevator shaft) if the other person is still up with lights and TV on in the "living room."  H does sometimes stay up later than me if he's working on a deadline though.
  • It totally depends on the day for us. If I'm working late, it's not uncommon for B to be sound asleep when I get home.  If we're both home, it's about 50-50 whether we head to bed at the same time or I go to bed a half hour before him.  It's also somewhat dependent on what we're doing or what we're watching on tv.

  • 99% of the time I go to bed first.  Mainly because of Emmett.  I'm usually awake when Matt comes to bed though.

Before Emmett I still went to bed before him and was usually asleep when he joined me.

  • 80% of the time we do.  Sometimes I just like to go to bed too early though...
