Re: tgif!!
NOTHING! And I can't wait
My lovely boss seems to have given me his cold (which I have been trying to avoid for the past week with no luck), so I am planning on laying low all weekend since I feel like death. I'm planning on catching up on Season 4 of Dexter, doing some laundry, finally unpacking from the holidays and straightening up the apartment over the next couple of days. DH is in Seattle for one more week of training, and so I want to make sure the place is put together when he comes home. I'm hoping to feel well enough to cook something over the weekend, since I haven't made anything in a while, but we'll see if I'm up to it.

Where are you getting your hair cut? I was just thinking yesterday that my hair is pretty long and I was wondering if it's long enough to donate. I've never done it before.
That's great Jess! I was hoping to donate, but couldn't stand my hair anymore!
Currently at work being jealous of DH being home with Eli since he just texted me a picture of them out to breakfast. Eli starts swimming lessons again this evening. The tomorrow morning he has gymnastics. Those are the only real things we have going on this weekend. Otherwise just hanging out, doing some things around the house and maybe some errands. Looking forward to a nice low key weekend!
My mom has seen Jersey Boys three times, she can't stop raving about it! Have a great time!!!
Tonight: DH is reffing, so I am home with Miss Ridley. It's bath night so we will do that and then I need to do a strength training routine. I will probably catch up on more Flipping Out on Tivo. God, I love that show. Jeff Lewis and I would be such good friends.
Tomorrow: Miss Ridley and I are headed to SoPo with my sister to do some returns and shopping at Target followed by lunch at Panera. I am going to roast a turkey when I get home. DH has to ref again so I will probably watch more Flipping Out.
Sunday: DH has a referee seminar in the morning (are you seeing a pattern here?). The Ridster and I will probably just hang out while he is gone. When he gets home we need to do our grocery shopping. We also need to get him a suit for the fancy wedding that we are attending in August, so we may head to SoPo again since Jos.A.Banks is having a sale online and we are hoping to take a look at the suit in person before purchasing it. We'll see. I also plan to prep a turkey pot pie and some turkey noodle soup for the freezer and make a couscous turkey salad for my lunches next week. I have no idea how much of that I will actually be able to get done.
JD - that is awesome. I have done it once before and it is so rewarding. I am contimplating it right now as I haven't had my hair cut in a long time and a few more inches I might be able to do it again.
Not much on the agenda for me. Tonight DH has a friend coming over so I have baby duty, and once they go to bed, I really need to upload new pictures and update my blog. I have realized having two babies I don't get much me time.
DH and I may go on a well needed and overdue Date night tomorrow night. Dinner and a movie, best part we have g/c for Previews bar and grill and the Saco cinemagic so that equals no cost to us.
TGIF! First week back from vacation and my butt is whooped.
Just joined a gym yesterday, so I'm heading there right after work to sweat my butt off for a while before having my sister over to hang out tonight. Tomorrow I'm going to head back to the gym first thing, then go to a yoga class, and then I'm treating myself to a couple hours at a Spa in the Old Port followed by lunch. Then it's home to work on my business stuff, prep for the new semester of the college classes I teach, and do the typical house stuff. My DH has been on the road all this week and won't be back for at least another week, so it's been pretty quiet around my house.
MainlyFoolish - you can get your hair cut anywhere, they just stick it in a ziplock and either send it off or you can. I've done Pantene Beautiful lengths twice and there is an 8 inch requirement. It's a shorter requirement then Locks of Love
Tonight- Dinner with the IL's. So not looking forward to this since she is making a meal that I so don't like.
Tomorrow - DH is installing the drawers and doors for the bathroom vanity and the built-ins in the living room. Then, the babyproofing begins. Caroline and I are headed to our first session of a playgroup.
Sunday - No plans, and hopefully it will stay that way
Low-key weekend. Normally Marcus and I would go out to dinner on a Friday night with my mom and grandmother, but there's nothing I can really eat in a restaurant right now, so we'll just stay home. Tomorrow MIL is dropping by to bring us the breadmaker so I can make some easy iodine-less bread this weekend. Other than that probably just cleaning, maybe a little more Christmas-money shopping, reading my bookclub book.
Tonight: no plans and other than general cleaning (sweeping etc.), nothing that has to be done...and boy does that sound nice.
Tomorrow: watching my nephew in the A.M./early afternoon, then Owen and MH are running errands while I do some spackling/painting prep in the dining room. No plans for the evening.
Sunday: FINALLY doing our Christmas here at home, either in the morning or after Owen wakes up from his nap. Chilling at home just the three of us, playing with new toys from Santa, maybe watching a movie, having a good dinner (what?) and generally relaxing.
Car is in the shop again (radiator this time) so Chris picked me up from work. We picked up T and now we are just hanging out. Feels so nice.
Tomorrow--headed to Portland to pick up a piece of furniture from Bob's and a new toy box from Toys R Us. I hope it is in stock and not a wasted trip! Lunch maybe in Portland, but probably at Red Robin.
Sunday--Maybe I'll clean but it's looking like just folding laundry and having a good old relaxing day. Trying to work a lot of overtime to get new tires for the truck and get some stuff paid off so I'll need one day of down time.
