Morning ladies!
I felt like this Friday would never come! (It's been a long week).
I had a pleasant start to my day...I usually treat myself to a Starbucks breakfast sandwich on Fridays and found out that they're running a promotion which saved me over $1. It's the little things in life, right?
Today Chicago's first Crumbs cupcake store opens and it's 2 blocks from my work. This could be very bad in the future. I'm debating using my lunch to try to be one of the first 1,000 costumers to get a free cupcake...but don't know if it's worth it.
DH's old room-mate (that we both went to hs with) is coming to visit this weekend. I'm super pumped b/c the couple has always been fun, but now they're engaged and getting married Oct 2011, so I can't wait to talk wedding details again, plus the room-mate is probably my fav of DH's friends.

So, how's your day going and do you have anything fun going on this wknd?
Re: Morning, Happy Friday!
I too am glad it is Friday!
First part of the morning was not so good. Ken is trying to lose weight and we had a disagreement over that. He wants me to help him be accountable, but doesn't trust my judgement and opinons when they conflict with what he wants. It want the best for him and it hurts me when he doesn't want the best for himself.
The morning at work started off good though, my prom committee very easily decided on a theme which means I can get started on everything else. This is the first time I've really dug into prom stuff with them and they are going to be a great group of girls to work with.
No exciting plans for the weekend. I have to sell tickets at a home basketball game tonight. Then I plan on being a litle lazy tomorrow....we all deserve a lazy day every now and then!
Good morning!!
It's snowing here (though it's only about 2-3 inches worth) which causes everyone to go into a panic, so it took me an hour and 15 min to get to work when it typicaly takes me about 30 min. So I had a pretty slow start to my day. Now just eating a clementine before gearing up for the work day. Looking forward to getting home tonight so I can do some EA active on the wii and relax.
Happy Friday!

Good Morning!
Hannah, IMO, free cupcakes are always worth it
I have a meeting this morning with a local theatre and I hope to come away with some sort of job that utilizes my degree and that will hopefully lead to getting paid to do what I love. So wish me luck!
We also have a wedding in my hometown this weekend and Nick had to travel for work today so I will have to load up all three dogs myself and drive the 3 hours down there in my not so reliable car. Eeek. Should be fine though. I'm both looking forward to the wedding and not at the same time. It's my friend/BM who went sort of crazy on us for getting engaged and planning to have our wedding three months before hers. Classic bride post on TK, right? Well, several sort of nasty emails later, she was still a BM but our friendship really took a hit. I'm hoping she will be more sane after the wedding, but I'm not holding my breathe. Hopefully I won't be too judgey of her wedding, but I will e sure to dish it anything TN/TK worth happens :P
Happy weekend everybody!
Happy Friday to you all too!
Of course it's snowing enough to be incredibly annoying, but not enough for me to be home playing in it - hate that! So I'm already not looking forward to my drive home.
No real plans for this weekend. I may work a half day tomorrow to make up for the half day I missed this week (I have strep throat - sucksss) but I don't know how dedicated I actually am. Sunday is Eagles playoffs, so that's what my day will consist of.
less than 5 hours till my weekend....! woooo!
Oh man, I am jealous. Crumbs is deeelicious. Seriously. When we went to NY last spring, we stopped there twice, and then brought half a dozen home with us. The trip before, we took the plane and brought some back, and everyone was oohing and aahing over them.
We have a really exciting weekend of continuing to unpack and organize our new apartment. I leave on Wednesday for a 10-day business trip, so I want to get most of it done before I leave. And I really need to unpack my suitcase so that I can repack it. I think we're going to try to sneak in a movie and beers tomorrow - probably Black Swan, because I'm dying to see it. And tonight is margaritas and fajitas and Jersey Shore, woohoo!
(Why yes, we are a million years old and lame. I feel like Will Ferrell in Old School "Well, um, actually a pretty nice little Saturday, we're going to go to Home Depot. Yeah, buy some wallpaper, maybe get some flooring, stuff like that. Maybe Bed, Bath, & Beyond, I don't know, I don't know if we'll have enough time.")
