So, I just read the Heir to Blair blog for the first time. All I can say is Holy &!
When Summer first posted about using "&" in blogs, I really didn't get it, but I guess I wasn't reading the right blogs. Don't get me wrong... I use "&" a lot. But, in a different way.
This chick is using it for every. single. "and". in her entire post! While I'm a huge advocate for the idea that it's her blog and she can do whatever the H she pleases with it, I do have to say that ALL of those "&'s" really aren't that aesthetically pleasing when reading through the post.
I seem to use &'s when combining two things. For example, yesterday's photo 365 caption was "A game of cat & mouse." Or, I'll use it in blog post titles to save room. I don't *think* I have, nor would I intentionally, ever use solely &'s in the place of a.n.d.
Just had to clarify that I get what you all were talking about now. That is a little annoying to read. And now, it's sparked a blog post.
ETA: I corrected my BIGGEST grammatical pet peeve EVER. To & two... how did I screw that one up? Good grief.
Re: "&" I've changed my mind.

ME TOO! I read it all of the time when she was pregnant with Harrison because I thought she funny and truthful. She REALLY bugs me now...and I can't put my finger on why.
Ditto. I just started feeling like this a couple months ago and I'm not sure what it is. I still read it though, obviously. I'm a masochist.
