Now that NYE is over...

what do I wear with my sparkly sequin shirt I bought?  I work at a hospital but our attire is dressy/casual.  Would it be okay to wear a cardigan over it with a skinny belt?  How much glitter is too much at work?  How else could I keep it rotating in my wardrobe??

Re: Now that NYE is over...

  • LOL.  I also have a shiny sequin shirt I bought for a Christmas party (it was from The Limited)  and I have NO idea when I'll ever wear it again.  I'm thinking the only time I'll get to wear it is when we go downtown (which is rare).   Sorry, I'm not much help.

  • Maybe we should have a sparkly shirt swap!  This way we will have something new for next year.

I had planned on going out after the holidays to look for a shirt for Brian's work party next year, but never got around to leaving the house. Darn cold!

I think the cardigan/belt over it sounds great! I think it would be just fine in your office. Although, I'm also of the mindset that even though a workplace is "casual" doesn't mean you can't dress up more than that occasionally, if you feel like it.

We probably have the same one!  Mine is from Limited, too!

I agree. I think I'm going to do it!

Yes, we should all switch for next year!
