2011 So Far

I feel like it's been 2011 a lot longer than a week.  Soo much has been crammed in already.  Friday and Saturday nights, I unexpectedly got to go out with some friends.  It was loud and fun, but started a trend in lack of sleep. I also took down all the Christmas stuff and cleaned.  Kevin's parents are out of town, so his sister has been checking on their house.  Monday, she called to say that his car doors/trunk were open (he's keeping the fast car there over the winter) , so he had to go through his car and parent's house to make sure stuff wasn't missing.  I started on a project of checking with each individual website client at work personally.  There are folders everywhere.   My car also started making a really weird noise and vibrating like my tires are rolling off.  I went to ride Velvet and she was slightly crazy and wore me out.   My mom saw my little brother's status on FB.  He's getting a tattoo.  She freaked out on me.  Like a lot.  He's 19.  If it's the worst thing he'll ever do... she should be happy.  Wed and Thurs were Kevin's nights off.  He installed CS5 for me, but kept me awake way too long.  Had a dentist appointment, but my new insurance card through DH's insurance wouldn't go through with the office.  Tried riding Velvet again, only to discover she has a cold.  DH also took my car to get checked.  They told him it's fine.  I'm not crazy.  I know it's not fine.  I had to drive his car everywhere that day and the thing is a 20 yr. old monster with a stick shift like 3 feet long.  I barely slept Wed. night at all, so I drank coffee allll day long.  When I got home, he slept while I cooked.... I tried to get my website started, but I need to figure out a good url, and I'm stumped there.  Tried to go to bed, but couldn't fall asleep, even though I feel exhausted.  The dog then started baying like crazy at 5:50 this morning.  I was so mad.  DH went to get him- the cops were at our door!  They said his car doors where open and he needed to check and see if anything was missing.  Seriously?!  Both of his cars in different locations in a matter of 5 days?!  His car is even broke, so I have to get off early, so he can drive my also broken car to get a part for the Beast.  At work, my friend just texted me that her friend showed up at her doorstep last night drunk.  So she's calling an intervention on him because it's not the first time he's driven drunk.   I'm so tired, can I go back to bed yet?  And if you made it through all that, you seriously deserve a brownie!

End. Rant.

  • Thanks Kim and Mel!  Sorry to complain so much.  I blame the lack of sleep catching up with me.

And, I think I might actually bake brownies tomorrow.  No, it will not be good for my  healthy eating. But, Yes, it will be good for my mood.  A little pan... just a little one Angel
