Newport Richey Activities (or in hour radius)
Hi. I am visiting some older relatives. In New Port Richey. They do not want to visit the parks including Bush Gardens. We have been to the zoo several times so they do not want to do that. We are going to the sponge docks in Tarpon tonight for dinner and making dinner here tomorrow. Any fun activites around here? Horse tracks? Fun bowling or adult arcades?

For bowling, Lane Glo has 2 locations in NPR and they aren't too bad. They do cosmic bowling on the weekends at night I believe. There is a horse track off of Gunn Highway (probably around 20 minute drive). There is an arcade place (Stop and Play) off of US Highway 19. I haven't been there in years, so I couldn't say if it is still as fun as it once was. Other than that, I cannot think of much else to do in NPR. Starkey Park occasionally has events. Sims Park sometimes has concerts, but not sure if they will have anything during your visit.
