Hey Ladies!

I am proud of myself! I cleaned the whole house and now it is cleaner than it has ever been! It is so comfortable and nice now! My next venture is to go through all the cupboards and drawers and throw out stuff we don't need and organize! Any tips for organizing kitchen cupboards and drawers? I have a lot of pots and pans, dishes, etc. and not very much space, but I am tired of just stuffing everything in and shutting the door to keep it from spilling out!

Re: Hey Ladies!

  • I just recently organized my cupboards. I took stock of what we needed and what we had. Anything we didn't need went. Food-wise I went by dates, and made a master list of our pantry items. I posted it next to the shopping list and when I used the last can of something, I put it on the list.

I can't really help you with the pots and pans......that's dh's job!

  • right now we have a big unorganized kitchen. that is lower on my todo list. but i have been searching diy and organizational blogs and found some cool ideas. so i would take a search

i found one that was a pot rack hanging on the end of cabinet so it took up less space than a tradtional pot rack. also like a magnetic spice rack that stayed on your fridge.

There are also stackable shelves and stuff for organizing. I was looking at Bed Bath and Beyond once and was amazed at how much storage stuff was available.

I also recently did what pp did. took stock of my pantry and master list. it helps for shopping trips. meal planning. keeping organized. etc
