There are least two food items that I loved while growing up that are no longer made.
One is this coffeecake-like pastry with chocolate drizzles over it that used be made by a baking company called VanDeCamp.
The other is Carnation Breakfast Bars. I think I ate one of these every day from age 5 - 18. I remember eating them while waiting for my mom to pick me up from the ymca after swimming. And I took one to school every day...I mean EVERY day.
Anything you loved that is no longer made?...food or otherwise...
Re: Discontinued...
I don't think they make these anymore but maybe someone will prove me wrong and I'll be thrilled!
-Dunkaroos, the cookies with frosting to dip them in. I loved the soft frosting, much better than like oreos.
-Rice Krispie Treats Cereal - they're my favorite sweet treat, and the cereal was just freaking amazing.
I can't think of anything that isn't made anymore, but I found Koala Yummies at the grocery store about a year ago and was so effing excited that they still made them that I bought them. FTR they are just as delicious at 25 as they were at 5.
I was just thinking about this the other night at the grocery store when DH was giving in to his inner child and loading up Reeses PB Cup cereal into the cart. I loved the RKT cereal! Now that I'm older it would be too sweet for breakfast, but I'd pour a big ole bowl for dessert!
You can order utz online.
Or so I hear.. ... ..
You totally stole my answer. I miss dunkaroos so much.
I know they still make them, but they're only available at places like BJ's, and only on a very sporadic basis.
Or on Amazon.
Candy cigarettes.
They still have them, but they're not called cigarettes and they're just not the same.
I think candy cigarettes were just outlawed, actually, Laner! Idk if not calling them "cigarettes" gets around the ban..?
I can't think of any off the top of my head..
LOL! Not the flavored cigarettes! I've never touched any "real" cigarette, flavored or not. I mean the sticks of pure sugar that were shaped like cigarettes and have the colored end and everything. Like this:

How is it that my BABY is going to be 3?
BFP-2/25/11; 8 Wk U/S-3/25/11-No HB, measured 6.5 wks; D&C
They do. I still buy these sometimes.
My favorite candy when I was a kid.
Let's try this again...
