Which chandelier do you like more?
I am looking to purchase one of these for our nursery, but I can't decide which one. Both chandeliers are the same price and if I were to purchase #1 I would paint or replace the beige candlesticks.
Number 1 is 11" wide and number 2 is 14" wide

#2 - I'm not a fan of "fake wax" on chandeliers.
What's the size of the room you're putting it in?

I like both, but from what I can remember of the pictures you've posted of your bedding & furniture I am thinking #2.
I am also doing a chandelier of some sort in my nursery. I think you are doing a shabby chic theme? I am too, although different colors than you. Which doesn't surprise me because we had similar wedding tastes, just different colors and I think from something else you've told me similar decorating colors for the rest of our houses!

I do think #1 has more of a shabby chic look and actually think I like it a little more than the other. But from what I can remember of the bedding you posted, it seems like #2 would fit in more. But I could be remembering it wrong. Do you have any recent pics of the nursery?
Would you mind sharing the site you where you found these? I think I have a chandelier lined up (one my mom already has, so free), but she isn't bringing it until Tuesday and then I have to see if I like it with my other stuff. It would be good to have a backup, just in case.

That is a totally different bedding set than I remembered. Originally it was lavender, right? Maybe a damask-esque pattern? In any case, I still think 2.
And thanks for sharing the site!
Chelsea and Tasha - Please post pics of your nurseries after they are complete!
I cannot wait until I get to design Macy's big girl room (we are going to keep the current nursery for the new baby since it's gender neutral). I have started collecting pics for inspiration and I am justing waiting until I get KTFU to start. Right now I am leaning towards a shabby chic theme with a Coco Chanel/French/Eiffel Tower feel. Maybe pinks, creams and browns? IDK, I have plenty of time to decide......considering I am not even pregnant yet. LOL.
I really like the first chandelier and think it would be perfect for Macy's future room. Although, I question if I am crazy for not keeping a ceiling fan in there. It gets hot in Texas! But I could alway have a cute, vintage looking desk fan right?!

The one thing I did splurge on for Macy's room was her crib set. Everything else was cheap in her room. Finding a gender neutral crib set that didn't have Winnie the Pooh on it was close to impossible!
I wish I hadn't spent so much on it. But oh well. It's held up nicely so far and I am planning on using it for the next baby. Maybe then I will get my money's worth?!
