Did anyone make any New Year's Resolutions?
About the only thing I do is promise myself that I'm going to eat better in January. So far, so good. I haven't had any junk food in a week. I'm usually so tired of it after the holidays that I don't want to touch any sweets for a few weeks.
Re: New Year's Resolutions
1st: MOVE! I have got to get closer to the city. We're going to look this weekend in Smynings and Sandy Springs. Fingers crossed. I'm ready right now. It may be Feb 1 though depending on availability.
To lose weight: No more coke at the movies, eat better quality foods, make better choices when we go out, etc. Plus working out harder. mrBAMF is pushing me hard in the gym. I have arm muscle definition.
I need to focus more on my legwork.
I've definitely been eating better. Nomming a gyro + an awesome waldorf salad for lunch.
Post weightloss, I'd really like to get pregnant. MrBAMF is seemingly on board with this decision. I said I'd be ready in May and he said "why so late"? I was like WHO ARE YOU?! Where is my husband??? So, apparently HE'S ready.
Call me Kat =^..^=

My main resolution is continue my weight loss journey. I should finally hit 100 lbs this month, just before I hit the 1 yr mark. I need to lose 60 more, but I'd be happier with another 70-80. Yeah, huge numbers. The big improvements in all my labs are proof that it's working.
I need to start working out again. Going to the gym just isn't an option - it just doesn't work with our complicated lifestyle (DH has to drive me, he has to work odd hours, yada yada). So, I'm trying other options, like video games for the Kinect. The Wii is out - the stupid balance board just aggravates my tendonitis-prone ankles. I want to avoid the boot this year!
Also, we need to stop dining out so much to save some money.
mine are more goals but i have quite a few...
drink more water
eat more organic and humane products (i started this last year but i want to continue)
start running
take better care of my skin
learn how to use my Mac
start volunteering
maybe start ttc
Adventures of A Girl and Her Apron
I need to lose about 10 pounds and firm up my belly. We eat healthy, I just can't seem to shake the weight.
We are also desperately trying to move back home.
I am going back to school in the summer for my teaching license and Master's
A little late on this, but I am stealing an idea from Nicole and attempting to read 50 books this year (she did 100!). I also plan to blog a short summary and review.
Other than that, I really just want to loose 15lbs, not a resolution just something I know I need to do and have been working on through better eating/working out.
Only about a week late here...
I am going to lose the 5 lbs I gained this year, and then hopefully continue going and lose an additional 10 on top of that.
Pack lunches for H and myself to help us eat healthier and cut down on some spending (this includes menu planning)
Go to church regularly
Beat my half marathon time
