do you keep pic. cards from x-mas etc.
I'm trying to really declutter and get very organized this year. I have a drawer filled with old picture christmas cards, baby annoucements etc. I feel bad throwing them out but there just sitting there taking up space. What do you do with stuff like this?
Re: do you keep pic. cards from x-mas etc.
I hang them up and then throw them out once I take down all the other Xmas decorations.
Baby announcements, etc.. get put up on the fridge (assuming it's a friend or family member) for a month or so and then I throw them out.
I guess I don't see what I would do with them after that, to keep them?? My mom keeps them all and puts them in her scrapbook. But then again, my parent's house is full of clutter and she has a hard time throwing things out...when I was there over Xmas, I found a large stack of Xmas cards from 2007 in the guest room. I think I tend to overcompensate and do the complete opposite of my parents

just after the holidays i cut the cards apart~ frame the pictures in little picture frame ornaments from michaels, decorated with the year~ and re-gift them back to the sender. this way they can pack them up with their holiday goods, and hang them for years to come. also can do the same with birth announcements 'if they are small enough' I hope they arent offended by this:) i think its a cool thing to do.
otherwise, after they have been displayed for a while I toss em in the recycle bin~ i dont have patience or space to store them...what for? who cares anyway, just kidding.
