Anyone want to help with a wedding centerpiece idea?
My cousin is getting married this fall. It is her second wedding and she really has no idea what she wants. The date is November 12th so we were talking about doing reds, oranges, and some other "fall" things that would still work that late in the year...
She wants to reuse the vases I used at our AHR, if possible. Any ideas what we could use as a filler besides the obvious - flowers? This is a pic of the vase...

Re: Anyone want to help with a wedding centerpiece idea?
Has she thought about using pumpkins and gourds?
I've also seen people fill a candle holder with cranberries as a base then put the candle ontop of that as one possible idea.
Do you think November 12th is too late for pumpkins and gourds? I like that idea but is it too October-ish?
I was also thinking pinecones or decorative rocks with a candle in the middle - something neutral and then bring color in around it?
I second the cranberries! My friend did that at her November wedding and it was really pretty.
If she doesn't want red, she could do something neutral like acorns and incorporate her colors with fabric runners or something else colorful on the table.
I'm a big fan of cranberries, I do that a lot in my own home. Acorns, leaves...if she wanted something neutral I love the look of wine corks as vase filler.

May sound strange but if they want to bring the outdoors in some branches stuck in cranberries could be a simple but striking centerpiece. Just a thought!
