Very weird situation

Ok so the lady DH replaced at work talks to dead people. She has been telling Pat about people trying to contact both of us. Well a few weeks ago they went to lunch and she told him my mom was sitting with them. A couple days after that she was having a "conversation" with another person and two women came through (older and younger, younger one died first and they were important to us). Today she emails him and asks if the name Kathy means anything to me, is this person dead, and is this person my mom. The answer is YES to all three questions. My mom then shared with the lady that she died of cancer which she did. Then my mom is telling her Pat would never hurt me the way my father hurt her (he cheated on her) and wants to get messages to me before I tell my aunt in Rochester (the lady came up with the Rochester part which is really where my aunt lives). I am equally freaked out and excited. I am pretty sure I am going to have her do a real reading. Sorry for the novel, just wanted to share. Anyone else have any experience with this type of thing??

Can't say that I have. But if I had someone who talks to "the other side" and had that kind of specific information proving it was my dad.. I would definitely be having a sit down with them to talk to him again.

ps, I dont really believe in "readers", but if someone told me something with those perfect little details, I would believe it in that one person.

I agree with what Mar said. I am skeptical of anyone that says they were a "reader" but I would totally sit down with them if they had that info.

There is a guy back in Tennessee who is a psychic and very spiritual and some people in my family have gone to him and he is amazingly accurate about things that he could have no way to know. He accurately described my dad to my mom. He told my uncle that my family had 2 babies on the way, the first would be a girl and the second would be a boy. 2 of my aunts were pregnant at the time and sure enough Madison came first and then Ross. He did tell me I would have 2 kids (thank goodness for hope!).

The other weird thing is that DH only worked with her for all of 3 weeks and it wasn't like they spent all the time together so she really knows nothing about us.

If she was able to give specifics that no-one would've know but those that knew your mom and was not fed any info then I would go see her. Don't get your hopes up to high and see what she has to say without being led (questions like the 'does the month of September have any meaning for you', 'do you know someone whose name starts with a K that has passed'). That's how they get people like that old tv show with John Edwards. There are a lot of fakes out there so finding a true and good medium can be tricky.

I have been to a couple very good psychics and 1 bad one. I have never been to a medium but believe in it 100% - I have a very strong 6th sense and have had my fair share of 'visitors'. They've never been able to tell me something I did not already know - past, present, or future.

When I first started reading your post I thought she was a wacko but now I'm intrigued. That's pretty exciting if everything she's telling you is true and she has no means of knowing that information. I would definitely sit down with her and try to get more info from her if it were me.

She just sent two of her four pages of notes. Information on this included that I was 10 when she left (which I was), I can trust people named Mc (which is the beginning of DH's last name...and now mine), there was a situation with a dad and his wife and she could have helped if she stayed (this could be my father and step-mother who hate me, I ran away and only had to live with them because my mom died), the name Abby is listed which is what my mom asked me or my sister to name a daughter if we had one, mentions feeling abandoned (which are feelings I talk about at counseling- I know this could obviously fit with any situation but just another thing she said). Some stuff I wasn't sure about. I told her I want to do a reading. I feel crazy for doing it, but I can't let this opportunity go.

I have to admit I completely believe in people like this yet I am very skeptical at the same time.

I hope she is able to relay more info that gives you more peace of mind, I think there is an incredible amount of closure you can get from someone like this.
