if you have 2 or more kiddos

when did you start "showing"?  i'm wondering how long i'll be able to keep this a secret at work...

Re: if you have 2 or more kiddos

  • honestly? I was in maternity around 9 weeks.
  • Ahh!  I never come on here anymore because my job is crazy but you're pregnant!  Congrats!  I started showing early.  Like, people knew at Ben's birthday party at the end of August when I was all of 8 weeks pregnant.  I was also HEINOUSLY sick so it was hard to keep secret.  Again, congratulations!
  • Yup, def. in maternity pants around 9 weeks...Maybe you can wear chunky sweaters to try to cover it a little longer?
  • Obviously I only have one child but when I was pregnant with my second I was in maternity clothes around 8 weeks.  I was fully showing around 10.

  • I felt like it took me awhile to show with Reid. I was probably 12 or 13 weeks before I had to wear maternity clothes.

  • I think with Layne it was about 8 weeks maybe?  I honestly can't remember.  Luckily a lot of the fashions now have that blousy top look going on!  Just get some of those.
  • I was about 8 or 9 weeks when I started showed with Gianna. I had to come out to my principal and my kids b/c I didn't want them thinking their wellness teacher was getting fat!Stick out tongue

  • Pretty much the same as everyone else, 8-9 weeks.  1st trimester for sure!

    Ditto this.

The good thing about being pregnant now is that you can easily get away with bulky sweaters or a zip-up sweatshirt/sweater type thing to sort of cover up the belly.  I lived in my zip-up Old Navy sweatshirt at work before I was comfortable telling them.

  • Yep - I was about 8 weeks or so with Charlie.
  • i think i was a little earlier too, but it's all evened out... no one suspected when we told them at 14 weeks, even though i myself felt hugely bloated.
  • i am just over 10 weeks and i can totally tell although nobody else can... maybe some that know already, but thats it. i can fit into my pants fine, but my shirts , especially my fitted ones , look terrible. they are tight around my belly , even more so by the end of the day. not  there yet with my maternity clothes... i feel like i just put them away!

  • i told my boss at 8 weeks because I barely fit into pants, and was into maternity clothes by 9/10 weeks. Wasn't worth it, I got a HUGE belly the second time around (only a 3lb weight gain difference).
