Recommend a trimmer

for grooming my pubic area.

I used to always shave but it's been impossible to keep up as much as I would like with the baby, work, commute, etc. And I chickened out of getting a brazilian after posting about it on the board a couple of weeks ago.

I figured a trimmer will be my best bet between shaves. Just wondering if anyone has a suggestion for a model they like.

Re: Recommend a trimmer

  • I had one made by Jenna Jameson a few years ago. I didn't use it much, because I found shaving to be easier. On a positive note, it came with all kinds of crazy stencils - lightning bolt, heart, etc   If that's your thing lol
  • I like the Shick Quattro Trim Style. Its a 4blade razor on the one end (with replaceable blades) and on the other end is a trimmer. it runs on 2 AAA batteries and comes with a tray that suctions onto the shower wall.

You can get it at drugstores, grocery stores, or walmart or target... its not terribly expensive and it works very well...

  • I agree, I have the shick quattro trim style too. It's not expensive and it's so convenient since you can use in the shower.

  • I have one of those regular Conair ones, I think. For your legs. I like to use it after shaving in the shower. I go with the grain, so it makes the hair kinda sharp, so I like to use my shaver to cut it closer and have a more flat end. I can't shave against the grain, hurts really bad and get horrible in-grown hairs! :(

  • Just go for the Brazilian. I am a huge fan of being hair free and having smooth skin. Stubble down there is about as gross as it gets. Ok, so a Brazilian is painful at first, but after you start getting them regularly, the pain really subsides. I mean, you had a baby....this pain will be nothing in comparison to that. I'm not trying to be a jerk about this either - I've just found that I love the results and I don't have to do any upkeek myself. Also, it makes me feel incredibly sexy. Good luck with whatever you choose!
