How are you liking your shark? I'm about to buy on I think, but the reviews are so extreme. Either they are 5 starts or 1 star and the 1 stars are really bad! I guess that have lemons! Before I buy I wanted to see how it was working out for you? Do you use it on hard floors as well as carpet?
Re: Carrie RE: Vacuum
I'm still loving it on the carpets! I like it on the hard floors. On the hard floors, it definitely picks up every little crumb and dog hair. I did notice, though, that the never-used area under the dining room table was still pretty dusty after vacuuming there, which was disappointing. But heck...I guess that's what a mop is for.
I know that one of the major complaints about the vacuum is the size of the "head"...it's not as wide as a lot of other vacuums, so you do have to make more passes on the carpet. However, this thing is super lightweight, so I've barely noticed. It would be nice if the dust cup were bigger, but it's really easy to dump out and clean, so I don't think it's a big deal. I'm still dumping the dust cup after every vacuum (and sometimes I stop and empty it out partway through). I just like to think that's all dirt and junk that would otherwise be on my floors.
Is there anything specific that you read that you're wondering about?
