Catholic Church in McKinney

Hello!  My husband and I were just married about 20 days ago.  We are settling into our new home and married life and would LOVE to find a great Catholic Church in our new city, McKinney.  Any suggestions would be great appreciated.

Re: Catholic Church in McKinney

  • We are in Mckinney as well and checked out one here and one in Frisco and weren't really happy with either of them. We ended up in Plano at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton and love it there.

But the one in Mckinney that I remember is St Gabriel off Virginia.

  • My brother and sister in law go to St. Gabriel and they really like it.
  • Not sure if you're still reading this post, but we got married at St. Michaels and went there for a few years; however we have since switched to St. Jude's in Allen, just because the mass times are better and I like the music.  FYI on St. Gabriel, it is not as traditional as many others and I've heard many people don't care for it because of that.
  • i dont know if frisco is too far but there is a MASSIVE catholic church on el dorado. i'm not catholic so i've never been in, however, they are always doing activities and there seems to be a lot of young people. if you'd like, send me a msg and i will get the name of it for ya.
  • Thanks everyone for the advice.  We have tried Providence Church in Frisco, and although VERY different from Catholic Church....I kinda like it.  We'll see.  We'll probably try some other Catholic Churches before we decide!!
