Opinions on Furniture Superstore in Lisbon?
DH and I are looking for furniture this weekend and probably for a while to be able to fill the LR with something other than a train set. I know pretty much exactly what I want, but need to find just the right ones.
A co-worker mentioned Furniture Superstore in her list of places she had looked recently.
The website looks ok, but what furniture store's website looks great. I also read the reviews on google maps. The reviews were mixed. The two that I was concerned about said that the 'brand' name stuff they have is special brand name stuff made just for FS, like Vera Wang at Kohl's, and the part about it was all poor quality.
So what's the deal with this store? What do I need to know to shop there?
oh ETA: I can call them, but does anyone know their delivery policy? non existent?

I am so glad that I am not the only one who has to deal with this!
As for FS, I think it is pretty middle of the range stuff. Not super cheap like Bob's, but not as expensive as F.X. Marcotte. I would say that it is probably worth a try. You could also try Marden's if you aren't looking for anything spectacular. We got our furniture there and sometimes they have nice things for a fair price.
We have bought all our bedroom furniture and sectional couch there. I cannot complain about any of the furniture. Our doors are really small...which makes for getting any bulky furniture through the door...and they did it.
The are not number 1 in customer service but the furniture has stood for us in the last 7 years. We would go back. As far as price, I thought they were the fairest. FX was waaaaay to much money for our budget and Bobs just looked cheap.

We didn't make it far today, but had the easiest, most agreeable furniture shopping we have ever had.
We bought a pair of reclining wing back chairs from Forton's in Winslow, and it took about 15 minutes.
We knew that we wanted reclining wing backs and we knew want the budget was.
Walked toward the recliners, RWBs were in the first row, there were 6 choices and they were comfortable. Picked a color, paid what we had budgeted, and walked out the door. To be delivered near the end of the month when the other one that is on order comes in.
