Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

i just realized that i got on this board in april 2007 - almost 4 years ago!! can you believe we've all been friends and posting on this board for that long?! crazy!

I know I started posting on the Knot in April of 2007 (the day after DH and I got engaged), but I think it might've taken me a month or so to find the December 2007 board. It's definitely gone fast! And it is fun to think that we've all been friends that long.

I don't remember exactly when I started posting here, but it had to be in '06 shortly after I got engaged in May. I remember Ashlee, Jules, Dolli and I being among the first posters...A bunch of you came along when I took a break after finding out I was expecting and move my wedding. Then when I came back I had all these new people to get to know. lol. Who would have thought that almost 5 years later we'd still be talking EVERY DAY! Weird!
Tiff, I remember when you came back...I felt so left out because I didn't know who you were!

haha carmen. good times! when we were at our old jobs we would talk on aim chat all day too. Pretty sure we should've been doing some kind of work. lol
tiff, I remember when you thought you were pg and found out you were. You were asking some old poster for advice. I can't remember her name now, but she was already legally married, but was having a church wedding? She had kids and I think they switched their date to November and she left us.
I'm pretty sure I first started posting right after we got engaged in Jan 07. My join date says Aug. 06 b/c like carmen, I knew I was going to marry mr. markus and I started planning in my head then. I read the boards a lot, esp my local to start getting an idea of vendors, but never posted. I was so excited when we finally made it 'official' and I could start posting!
I was talking to my friend who got married Jan. 08 the other day about you guys. She was shocked that we all still talk!
