Brian has gone hiking for the day so I decided it was the perfect opportunity to get my to-do list done around the apartment. I have been up for 4 hours and have gotten nothing done. I am actually overwhelmed to the point that I don't even want to start or just don't know where to start. I know I should prioritize but it all seems important. To do--- laundry, clean the kitchen, bathroom, dining area and living room, work on putting wedding photos in albums so I can get them off the table (all 700 of them since we got copies of all of them), dust and vaccuum, oh and I have to fill out tax forms for the after school program I run telling parents how much they paid in 2010 (have about 30 of those but I have a few weeks before those must be done...just wanted to do it sooner than later.) Oy....ok this post was more of a vent and an attempt to motivate myself...didn't work.
Re: overwhelmed by the to-do list
I feel your pain. We are still surrounded by boxes, there has to be at least 6 loads of laundry for me to do today, and I leave on a 10-day business trip on Wednesday. I don't even know where my passport is right now, and I haven't even thought about packing. And yet, I'm sitting on the couch, surfing the web, and not doing any of it. Sigh.
So if you find some motivation, could you send it over here?
We for once are not overwhelmed by the to do list, we are sitting here deciding what to do today. House is clean, laundry is done, dog is brushed..... Its too cold to do anything outside and we really don't want to spend any money so right now I am nesting and Ken is watching a movie on TV. Need to find something to make this day worthwhile.....
