Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Hey gals, sorry it's taken me so long, but finally I have added a new newsy post to my blog, regarding my "big" ultrasound (no, we're still Team Green).
[Oh and as for Facebook, I will be outing myself on there soon! I just emailed my long distance friends and family I hadn't told yet, so just giving them a few days to get the memo, so I plan to "go live" this week sometime... stay tuned!]
The upshot of it on the blog (for those who can't check blogger at work): The scan went great, baby has all the right parts and is growing like a weed! And, we got a couple of glimpses of Baby j-bird to take home with us (I'll post one here):

I too am amazed at how much can be seen of the baby. I keep trying to figure out whether I can see resemblances to me or DH, but so far I can't. I guess I should go dig up some pics of us as babies. I'm not sure if I'll get more 3D images in the future, but I think there are more ultrasounds in my future. Because of my chronic hypertension they want to monitor the growth of the baby. So far, my BP is under control, and it certainly doesn't seem to have any effect on the size of the baby!
Stacy - so you think it's a girl, eh? I should start that online pool thing Mel suggested a while ago... so everyone can place their "bets" lol!
