So excited to do "Let's Dish" this week!

My boyfriend's amazing mother gave me a $100 gift certificate to "Let's Dish" to make 4 meals. We decided to split the dishes that we make (each has 6 servings) and since we're splitting she also decided to splurge some more and get 8 meals instead just 4 for an extra $65. I found a coupon code for an additional $15 off so that means she is only paying another $50 out of pocket. She is so generous and I am thrilled to have this experience with her! We have quite the yummy menu planned....

Balsamic Marinated Flank Steak with Roasted Green Beans

Chicken Tortilla Soup

Chicken with Rosemary Dumplings

Create-Your-Own Calzones

Crispy Chicken with Parmesan Potato Chips

Greek Seasoned Beef Roast with Orzo

Parmesan Crusted Pork Chops with Company Potatoes

Sesame Apricot Chicken

What are your experiences with "Let's Dish"? Did you enjoy it!?

Re: So excited to do "Let's Dish" this week!

  • I don't post much but I have to say I LOVE LD.  Mom and I went yesterday.  We've had the Chicken Tortilla Soup before, it's amazing. And the calzones are a great quick meal.  I'm expecting in June, and have decided the closer I get to my due date, the more oven meals I'm going to get.  Those are especially great because they go straight from the freezer to the oven, it's so easy!!

Mom and I go once a month and split the 8-meal package.  That way, we get plenty of variety at a better price.  DH and I got into a rut of making the same stuff over and over, LD gave us new stuff to try and a good variety in our boring menu.  LOVE it.  Enjoy!!

I know some people balk at the cost, and off-hand, it seems like a lot.  But for ~$10/meal, we get a great variety, with little prep time on my end, and I don't have to worry about doing it right or veggies going bad before I make it, etc.  And really, considering all the ingredients, the cost is very comparable.  :)
