Sunday weigh in!

I had my first weigh in for WW today and I lost 5lbs! I've been at a plateau forever so it's nice to see the scale move again. I started working out again this past week, I did 3 days hoping to work my way up to 5.

How about everyone else? How did you do this week? Anyone just starting out today?

  • I lost but nowhere near 5 pounds...I think it was about 2

  • they say about 2 lbs a week is best for weight loss. I think I lost 5 just because it was my first week and it was a major food change for me.

    way to go!!

  • i'm down to 1.2.  The average weight lost is 1-2lbs and thats the healthy range.  I was hoping for more, but as long as the number keeps going down i'll be happy
  • WW weigh in for me is tomorrow!  I have been doing a better job with tracking this week so we will see!!!  My goal was 50lbs. gone by Christmas, but I didn't get there!  I need to be more consistant with the gym!  Oh well one thing at a time I guess!
  • good luck at your weigh in tomorrow!

  • I know 1-2 pounds is the recommended amount, but it would be nice to occasionally have a bigger week.  We've been trying to lose since right after the wedding and I've only lost 10 so far...my goal is 50 by April when we're planning to start TTC...Some ladies at work are starting a group competition tomorrow, hopefully that helps!

  • I weigh in on Thursday. It's the first time in a long time so I am nervous. Hoping for good results!
  • I'll be checking in here on Mondays, since I'm hardly ever on here on the weekends.

I did my official "start" weigh in yesterday - and man I'm disappointed.  I mean I knew I gained from the holidays, but I'm SO far from my wedding weight now!!  It's going to take me awhile to get this back off.

Starting today, I'm looking to lose 20lbs by Mid-March.  I would like to lose another 10lbs after that by Easter.  This makes me sound like I'm a fat-a$$!! Embarrassed

  • So what is everyone's goal amount to loss and when do you want to lose it by?  I want to lose 10lb by the time we go on our HM (Feb 25).  This means i need to lose 1.25 lbs  a week.  i did that last week.  So here's hoping i keep at it!

After that, i just want to maintain, or at most lose 3 more pounds

  • My husband lost 5 lbs!  I was so proud of him!  His goal is 40.  I am worried he is going to get frustrated when he only loses 1-2 lbs a week now.  I just have to keep encouraging him.

I think I only lost about 1 lb.  I gained 3 lbs during the holidays and those came off pretty fast.  Now I just want to lose 6 more to get to my happy weight.  I haven't been at my happy weight in 18 months, but I can't complain too much that I am only 6 pounds above it.

  • I need to lose 30 lbs to get back to my goal weight and be back to lifetime. I would ideally like to lose it by May, but it took me like a year to lose it originally. Hopefully we can all keep each other motivated  Tongue Tied
  • I would like to lose at least another 50lbs. I'm down 60...I know that sounds like a lot, but I was pretty heavy for a while there. I don't know what time frame I want yet. I want to lose safely and in a way that makes it easy to keep it off. It took me well over a year for the 60lbs.

  • Wow SE congrats on the loss! That's amazing! I think anyone who can lose more then the typical 10 lb fluctuation is inspirational!
