Stinky baby!

The other day Ryan told me to come smell under Feli's arms -- ohmygosh he stunk! Like he had just been working out or something. We give him baths every 3rd day, maybe its time to go every other day now.

I thought babies were supposed to smell good :)

Re: Stinky baby!

  • haha really gotta get in there good and then let him air them out :) Little Felix is a stinker :P
  • haha...no fun

We, or should it be I, bathe Taylor every night.  Mostly because I know I hate going a day without a shower.  The only exception is camping.  She sleeps better with a bath too. :)  too funny though

  • Too funny! Eli's feet sweat a ton and tend to be stinky. We bathe him every night as part of our bedtime routine, but only used soap every other night so that he doesn't get too dry.

  • That's funny!  I guess it makes sense since it's quite a bit warmer there...Marcus gets a little stinky in the summer here.  We generally do every other night, sometimes push to a third night if we're feeling lazy.  Or I just pull him into the shower with me, he's always loved to shower!

  • When I give Adam his bath, I make sure I get under his arm, leg rolls and neck.  He still spits up so he gets some spittal in his neck wrinkles.  Oh, it smells so bad!

  • Veronica does not like baths AT ALL.  She's only 3 weeks old so hopefully she'll learn to enjoy a warm bath but for now she is not impressed.  I had to laugh when the pediatrician suggested a warm bath at night to help relax her and get through her fussy time which usually starts between 10pm and midnight. I'll keep giving her baths every 3rd day and when spits up enough milk to soak the both of us.

  • This post made me laugh!  Especially the part about him working out!

Ridley still gets baths every other night.

  • :) We just started every other night and it is much better! He loves the bath too, so it helps calm him during that fussy evening time -- it's a win/win for all of us!
