Ice Rink in Woonsocket

has anyone every been?  I heard it is free but you need your own skates.  Maybe we can do a gtg there one time.  I have not been skating in years and C has been asking to go ice skating

Re: Ice Rink in Woonsocket

  • I went last year, gets pretty busy, but fun.  I actually thought of calling in sick from work just to go during week when might be less busy.  kind of bumpy skating though, but not too bad- actually good if you haven't been in awhile so you don't have to worry about having to figure out how to stop. lol   They have skates if you need them, but I rec you bring your own if have them.  You can get kid ones at second hand places.  We got DD's at sport place in CRanston- play it again/second time around sports (i forget which one that is).  W ehave seen skates at salvation army too- nice ones for kids.  they also have crates for the kids to skate with too.
  • Yup its free :)  I don't skate but DH used to take our nephews when they were learning to skate.  I'd like to take Ethan as soon as we can find him some skates.
