Has anyone been to the Valentin or El Dorado Seaside Suites in Mexico?
My H and I are planning a trip to Mexico this March. I "think" I have it narrowed down to the Valentin Imperial Maya or El Dorado Seaside Suites. I'm having a really hard time choosing. I found good deals within our budget for both and each one seems really nice.
If you have been to or know someone who has been to either of these resorts what was your opinion? What did you like? Dislike?
Thanks!!!

We honeymooned at El Dorado Seaside Suites and I LOVED it. It wasn't what I call a "Mega Resort" but it was big enough that we kept ourselves entertained for a week. The staff was great, the drinks were great.... all in all it was a great trip. :-)
I hear El Dorado Royale (the "bigger brother" to Seaside Suites) is also great.
Good luck deciding!
My husband and I honeymooned at the Valentin this past June--we really loved it! Since we were there in June, it wasn't super busy. The rooms were very nice (lots of space) and are kept nice and cool. The restaurants are super tasty too... we loved the lunch menu at the restaurant that was right off the boardwalk leading to the beach. We were there for a week--there were enough dinner/restaurant choices to keep us switching around.
We also really liked the beach, the large pool, and the fact that everything was kind of spread out a little. Felt more intimate. All of the buildings are 3-4 floors or less, so it feels less like a mega resort. Plus, it was far enough from town that there wasn't the whole club scene vibe.
