How is everyone this Monday morning? I actually slept well last night. I so wanted a nap yesterday, but I didn't take one in hopes that I might actually sleep well, and I think it worked.
We finally started up watching Dexter (Season 4) again last night, and man, why did we stop? That show is awesome. We've only got 3 episodes left in this season, so no spoiling please!! (although I'm pretty sure I know what happens)
How was everyone's weekend?

We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?

Re: Good Morning!
This turned out to be a do-nothing weekend, which was just fine with me. We did try out the new waffle maker on Saturday and after some trial and error with the amount of batter to use and the need to use Pam on it, we had some pretty decent waffles.
Today is a boss free day at the office which is always good. I hope to get a lot done today. I have a follow up appointment tomorrow at the doctor for blood work and an ultrasound, to make sure that things are heading back towards normal.

Raynes - we just started watching Dexter. Love, love, love. We are currently waiting on Season 3.
Great weekend for me. Saturday night DH and I had a well overdue date night. After dinner we went and saw Harry Potter (finally). I will admit I did not like it as much as the first ones. I thought it was a little long and drawn out.
Yesterday was a PJ day, and all 4 of us took a 2 hour nap together. It was awesome and so needed.
We are expecting a storm this week, so I just put in to take Wednesday off. I think I would rather spend the day in PJ's then trying to get into work.
I'm at home sick today. I started hacking up a lung yesterday and it has continued on into today. =( My lungs are really, really sore.
This is my last week as a 30 year old! My birthday is on Sunday... which means I'll be INTO MY THIRTIES. Ugh. I was planning on having a spa day either on Friday or Monday, but I don't think I want to take the time off now.

Hello ladies. We had a pretty good weekend. The weather was so nice on Saturday so we went out ice skating as planned. Growing up in a place where pretty much everyone learned to skate, I always find it strange to see so many people struggling! But we had a great time. Sunday we spent a lot of time taking care of some chores around the apartment and planning our Australia trip.
I also FINALLY started working out again. I don't have a lot of time during the week, so I started back up with the 30 Day Shred. So far, three days in a row, and I'm sore but feeling good about it!

Good morning!
kaesha - sorry you're sick! V is sick right now too and whatever he has sounds awful.
I had a busy weekend. We went to see a bunch of houses on Friday and may have an appointment tonight as well. I think we've decided that we need to get a place that's more or less move-in ready, as we just don't have the time to pull a raynes. I think we'll be going for a townhouse out of downtown, but still transit accessible. Nothing that we're going to put an offer on yet, but tonight's appointment looks promising.

Kaesha- I'm sorry you're sick
( I hope you feel better soon!
My weekend was really good. DH's birthday was on Saturday so we had a weekend filled with birthday stuff.
Friday night we had some friends over for drinks and cake which was fun. DH doesn't get home from work until 11 PM so it was a late start to the night, but it still turned out OK.
Saturday we went to stay at a really nice lodge that sits at the top of the Snoqualmie Falls (that was my b-day present to DH). It was pricey but it was so worth it.. the view was so amazing and the room was so nice! There is a real wood-burning fireplace and a huge jetted tub in every room. It even snowed off and on (but didn't stick) so it was beautiful. It was very relaxing and we really enjoyed it.
Sunday we came home and made Cheez-it chicken for dinner, then just watched TV and hung out.
Happy Monday everyone!
raynes - enjoy, season 4 of Dexter was my favorite so far.
Good morning ladies! I'm at work today and my boss called in sick so I have some time to nest. Of course the nest isn't cooperating or our internet is messing up and it's taking forever to open and respond to posts. Hope you all have a good day.
I feel like an as$ today. I drank a little more than I should have last night and argued with DH. Now he's traveling until Thursday and I feel bad.
Other than that, I'm continuing to hope that this snow that is trying to come down will stop. I really don't want to deal with a horrible commute home.
We had a pretty decent weekend. Friday I finally got in a nap and slept great. Saturday morning wasn't so good, but we at least got the Christmas stuff put away, which was our main goal for the weekend. Saturday night we went to the casino to see Jo Koy. AMAZING! I highly recommend him. I had no idea he had a singing voice. Belting out a few old school R&B songs was definitely the icing on the cake for me this weekend. Sunday was a total backwards step in the nausea department. I've felt like crap since I woke up on Sunday, including all day today. DH even brought me breakfast in bed because he knows I need to eat almost immediately. Hoping the rest of my week gets better.
katsblaze* I'm hoping we don't get a ton of snow in that storm coming on Wednesday. It'll be nice to just call out without having to worry about classes and such, though. Hopefully the weather people are wrong like they always are.
