Need opinion: ground turkey
I plan on fixing taco salad for dinner tonight and I want to know if ground turkey tastes enough like ground beef so I can trick L into thinking it's ground beef?! He's like a kid in those commercials: if he knows there is a full serving of vegetables in there, he won't eat it! I've never fixed or eaten found turkey but I've heard it tastes almost the same. Opinions?

i tried using ground turkey once but hated it. i always use ground chicken now. i can't even remember the last time i used ground beef. what i do is use gravy master to help with the color. you just need a splash of it and it darkens the meat.
we actually prefer it now!

we use ground turkey often, but to be honest I never thought to use it for tacos. We used ground turkey for them most of the time.
I must say that we made a ground beef goulash the other night and I think it totally turned me off ground beef.

this. I can't stand beef anymore. Plus like pp said, the taco seasonings will mask any flavor difference. We make turkey tacos, and I think they taste exactly the same.
