I just read your post below. Lucy eats dinner at 6 and goes to bed at 7. So I dont' think feeding her late is a bad idea. She doesn't take a bottle before bed most times so we know she wont' be hungry in the MOTN.

Also, we only give her a shower 3x a week , she doesn't need any more right now  (unless she is extra dirty then we give her another) and she gets too dried out.

You guys are doing just fine, I'll be praying for Jeff's job.

  • Thanks for the info. I really appreciate hearing how others do things. I know that everyone has their own ways and things but it does help to hear that I'm not alone in things. (Especially when it comes to feeding her. I want to make sure my girl get the nutrition she needs.)

And thank you for the prayers.

I pick up Brody from daycare around 5:15pm, he eats dinner around 6:00pm and our night-time routine (bath, bottle and bed) starts at 6:30pm. He's never in bed later than 7pm.

It sucks that I don't even get 2 hours of time with Brody after work each night, but he's at the age where he needs a full 12 hours of sleep each night.
