Good Morning (round two)!
My DH's work has a huge project release this week, which means everyone is on weird split-shift work schedules. He's in today from 6:00-3:00, tonight from 1:00am-11:00am, Wednesday from 6:00-3:00, and then *hopefully* back to normal on Thursday. I, unfortunately, am a very light and troubled sleeper, which means when he wakes up at 4:30 am, I'm up too -- and usually last until about 6:30 or 7:00 when I take a "nap" until 9:00ish. *sigh*
So, anyway, now I've had breakfast and am getting around to all my various interwebbing. What's going on with June '09 today? Anything exciting? How about the rest of the week?
I have an interview tomorrow for a part-time tutoring job and then I have jury duty (potential yay to the first, major boooo to the second).
Re: Monday, Monday...
You were up before me, I think!
Lots to do today - printing out some brochures, taking down the tree, and making chocolate chip cookies.... add in bathroom cleaning and laundry too.

Today started DH's first day of day shift. It is going to be a major change for us. He has been on night shift for 6 years, which means the whole time we have been together. I am nervous and excited, too.
Tonight I start my last semester of undergrad. I am so glad. I feel like it has been a very long time coming.
Right now I am going to finish cleaning the house before I have to be at class.

Awesome Kaley! Good luck!
We're having friends over for the National Championship today, which was a great motivator for cleaning the house yesterday. I did all the laundry and got it put away, unpacked all our suitcases from travelling, and got rid of all the lingering paper (bills, mail, catalogues) that was strewn about the house. It feels great to have a clean house at home.
I have been busy at work because we had 2 new people start last week. I have been doing a little training but I'm also busy with product because of Chinese New Year. Our overseas offices close for the holiday so we are rushing to get things done before the end of the month.
Aaaaand.... I applied for a promotion. I have applied unsuccessfully for a few others but I was actually approached about this one. The part that I have had a lot of trouble with is the interviewing and I have spent a lot of time doing mock interviews so I feel much better about the whole situation. It would be huge if I got it because it would be closer to home, a flexible schedule, the ability to travel internationally once or twice a year, and more money. And that's aside from the fact that it is actually something I would actually enjoy. Fingers crossed!
GL Lucky! The position sounds great, keep us posted.
