YAY!!! Lost 5.8 lb last week on Weight Watchers!!! Its not that bad, I am actually finding it hard to eat all my points.. All 2556544587777 of them. HEHE If anyone was hesitant on trying the new program.. Its pretty easy and so far it seems to be working for me.. I would say its worth it
My FIL is officially closing our company some time between April and May.. Michael and I have decided to give Pennsylvania a try.. We are planning a trip in the next few weeks to scope out the Milford/Poconos area.. It is close enough where we can get in the car and still visit. Michael will commute on the train, its about a 75 minute trip (not too bad) The prices for a brand new 4 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath with fireplace, and all the upgrades is more than half of what we paid for our townhouse.. And the taxes are also more than half of what we pay now.. We think it should work out.. Please continue to keep us in your thoughts ![]()
Also, next Saturday we have another appointment with Jacks pediatrician, since Jack has had 6 ear infections this season alone, we are going to be discussing our next course of action.. Constant antibiotics and possibly ear tubes.. My poor little man.. I am not looking forward to these tubes, but at this point willing to do just about anything to make the ear infections go away.
Re: A few updates (long)
Congrats on the weight loss! I lost 4 lbs last week on the new PointsPlus (most of what I gained in Christmas and Mexico!) and I'm now only 4 lbs above my low in October. Very hopeful this new plan gets me back on track to where I was a couple of months ago... so glad to hear you've had success, too!
(I agree with you - hard to eat all my points some days, but I'm working on it!)

Congrats on the weight loss! That is awesome.
I am glad that you all have a plan and have found some positive points about it. This move could be the best thing that happens to you all. I hope you love it in Pennsylvania.
I hope poor Jack gets better. I am sure that little boy has been in pain and you just want it to stop.

I've been thinking about you! YAY for you for the weight loss! That's exciting!! I'm sorry to hear your FIL business is going to shut down. At least you had some warning and could start looking elsewhere. A move could be exciting!
I hate it that little Jack is sick all of the time. FWIW, I was the same way he was with ear infections and ended up having tubes 3 times. HOWEVER, my mom said it was INSTANT relief immediately after the procedures. Hopefully, he'll be feeling better soon!
We're all here if you need anything!
Sounds like you guys have a good plan figured out and it will work out great, just different!
Woot, woot on the weight loss! Keep up the good work!
Ugh, poor Jack
Hopefully he'll get some relief soon, poor little guy
. I'm so afraid of ear infections.
Congrats on the weight loss! (I wish P+ was working that well for me)
I'm sorry about the job, but I hope things turn out great in PA.
GL with Jack's ears.
Aw, poor Jack, hope the little man feels better soon!
We are actually going to be looking in that same area! Poconos/East Stroudsburg area!
Sorry to hear that your FIL is closing the doors in a couple months. But it sounds like there is a plan for your family that will work. Good luck relocating.
That's too bad that little Jack has been so sick. I hope things get better for him.
Poor Jack, I hope he feels better. Constant ear pain is just awful.
Congrats on the weight loss! That's great!
You'll be about 2-3 hours north of me if you move to the Poconos/Milford.
