I saw on FB that Autumn got some and I know Whit did - anyone else?

The kiddos were off school again today (they were also off Friday), and we have yet to get as much as a snow flake. I'm kind of hoping we get a ton so they will shut down the University too!

We didn't. We got a 3 inches between Friday night and Saturday night.

We have a decent storm coming tomorrow night and into Wednesday. They are calling for 8-16 inches. We'll see how much it changes in the next 24-36 hours.

We got about 1-1/2 inch on Friday and then about 2 on Saturday, we are suppose to get more tomorrow.

We got maybe 5 inches or so on Friday and nothing on Saturday.. We are expecting a ton tomorrow and I for 1 am hoping to get snowed in.. I have about 2 weeks worth of laundry to catch up on and with us being so sick since Christmas I want to clean everything myself and disinfect the entire house.

Yes! We got a ton (for Alabama)! 8" total so far and it's still snowing, although not as much. I have never in my life seen it snow like it did last night...purple lightening and such loud thunder to go along with it! I know you guys who live up north are probably laughing and thinking "8" is nothing!" but it seriously does not snow like this except for once every 20 years or so. The last big snowstorm here was in 1993 when we got about a foot. I'm loving it!

We got snow in Dallas yesterday! Not very much, but it was still exciting. Every time the weather gets "bad" like this our news stations go crazy and have special broadcasts. And the reporters are all out in the cold saying stuff like "well the roads aren't bad YET but it could be dangerous in a few hours. The overpasses COULD freeze and we COULD see some black ice. We'll be out here all night monitoring the situation." And then usually everything is fine.

we got about 3 inches on Sat.. but ehh nothing much. I don't think we are going to get much of the big storm coming through. Though the 10day shows snow everyday but today and tomorrow. Who knows how much though. But I do hope enough comes by early feb so DH and I can go on our sleigh ride!

We got about 7-10 inches here depending how close/far from the mountains you are, but still school. My district never closes... out of all the districts in town...there were three schools open, and mine was one of them.

I think we got about 6 inches but we are getting ready to venture out so I can give a better estimate soon. It was so crazy. I was watching for it last evening and I looked out at 9:30 and there were some flurries. It picked up and we got huge flakes and by 11:00 we had 3 inches. I am loving it!!

We got some on Friday night, but nothing big. We're supposed to be getting a bunch tonight, so we'll see how that goes. A few people in the office were clearing their morning appointments so that they're free in case we open late, or not at all.
