Hi Guys,

As some of you might know I live in Tucson.  I work part time for Gabby Giffords, as the volunteer coordinator.  I go to ALL of her events!  Yesterday happened to be the 1st Saturday DH was off in weeks so I declined to go to the event yesterday.  While I feel so Thankful I wasn't there, I feel extremely guilty that my friends were.  I also had 4 volunteers there that I sent to the event.  All of whom were injured.  They will survive but I still can't stop feeling like I sent them into the fire.  My really good friend Gabe, was shot and killed. He was engaged and his fianc?e is not doing well.

 I am a wreck!  Gabby wrote me my Recommendations for law school.  Without her I wouldn't be who I am today.  

 Please keep her in your thoughts!

    Oh my gosh, I'm so incredibly sorry for what you must be going through. I can't even imagine.  All I can say is please do not blame yourself in any way.  There is no way you could have known what was going to happen.  It is all such a horrible tragedy.

    My thoughts and prayers are with you and all your friends and coworkers.

    My thoughts and prayers are with you and your coworkers/volunteers.  Like the PP said you had no way of knowing what was going to happen and are in no way responsible.  I can't imagine what it was like.  We are all here to listen if you need to talk over the next few days, weeks, months....

    My thought and prayers are with you, as well as all of the families and friends of those involved.  It is a terrible tragedy, but you cannot blame yourself for any of what happened.  I can't really imagine what you are going through right now being so close to the incident, but we are all here for you if you need us.

    Thanks Ladies....

    This has been the hardest weekend.  And now starts a week of funerals.  Thank you for your kind words.  

    If you would keep your prayers up for recovery for all including Gabby, I would be eternally grateful!

    Oh my goodness!  I am so sorry about your friend.  I am thinking about you, your co-workers, and all of their families right now.  Please just remember that you could not have known.  Don't blame yourself for what happened.  We are here if you need anything.

    So sorry for you.  I have been watching the coverage for two days and wishing Gabby Giffords pulls through and recovers.  I'm sure it is difficult, but you cannot blame yourself!  The best you can do is be there for those who have been affected by this tragedy.

    I am definity sending thoughts and prayers your way - as well as to all the family and friends affected by this horrific thing.  Be thankful that you were not there, and don't blame yourself.  I hope for the best for Gabby!!!!  So sorry that you are going through this.  Know that we are here to help support you!

    I can't believe this happened. There is so much cruelty in this world.  I am so sorry for your friend and for all the people killed. Especially for that 9 year old girl. I hope Arizona has death penalty and he gets it.  I hope that the doctors are really conservative and Gabrielle gets through this well...

    We are with you.  So sorry for your loss!

    I'm so sorry to hear how close this tragedy has affected you!  My heart goes out to you, your friends and all of those involved in this horrible situation.  I agree with PP, while it may be easy for you to try and blame yourself, you could not have done anything about it in the end.  My T&P's are with you!
