I need 2,000 Corks
DH and I built a bar for this nook in our dinning area, it's pretty awesome, looks nice and modern.
DH got the idea this weekend that he wants to line the shelves with wine corks, which will look awesome (I have a pretty creative DH!).
I lined up all the corks we already have to figure out how many more we need.... 2,000 if we want to do all 3 shelves!
DH says we'll have to just start with one shelf at 700 more corks 
So who wants to start drinking?

No! lol. The island is going strong (and looking fabulous in it's natural wood tone too!)
The bar is yet another project, Not sure if you remember but we were going to build a ladder shelf like this one...
But modified to hand our stemware too...
Well while building it i got frustrated because nothing was coming out right so we scrapped it and built a 3 shelf parsons style bookcase-ish thing instead, we're hanging 2 floating shelves from Ikea over it for the stemware.
DH is going to paint it tonight so hopefully I'll get some pictures up on the blog. It's really turning out great!
I have a vase full that I can contribute to your cause. And I then I can start refilling said vase.
