Valentines weekend getaway
Where would you go/ what would you do in Texas if you had a chance to get away the weekend before Valentines?
For Christmas, DH gave me a "weekend getaway pass" so I'm thinking a B&B somewhere.
I need this, I've been stuck in College Station for wayyyy too long.
We don't want to drive more than a couple of hours, but if you have any recs I would really appreciate it. I can't seem to think of anything besides Fredericksburg, but that might be a bit far and DH doesn't appreciate the shopping there like I do
TIA!
Re: Valentines weekend getaway
Horseshoe Bay is fabulous!
DH and I didn't do a big honeymoon - but we spent three days here and it was awesome! Enjoy your weekend!! I'm jealous!
"The House We Built."
A journey of building the dream.
We spent a weekend in Brenham one year. They have some good wineries around there. It was just a nice, small town and low-key. We stayed at the FarView B&B, which was super cute. It's nicer and more spacious than their online pics indicate. We've stayed in Boerne, and there was another little winery town that I can't recall now...
Blanco is also a good place to stay. They have cabins on the river and some good restaurants out there.
There's also a resort in the Woodlands but that would be another shopping-centric getaway
Fredericksburg is my go-to get away. There's always Enchanted Rock for something more outdoorsy/manly? And of course you could spend time at the Brewery drinkin it up
