Neighbor Issues
Some of you may have seen this on FB but out neighbors that live below us are driving me CRAZY!!!! The first incident with them, they called the police on us and said they could hear our kids running around and jumping off the furniture. Um, not true! Then, a bout a week ago we had someone from the office come up to our door bc they called and said we were playing loud music. The lady from the office could hear the music and could tell it wasn?t coming from us. Then yesterday while we were at the grocery store (around 4:30), the office called us and said the people below us were calling about our noise. I told the lady we were not even home and have not been home all day. Then, last night around 7 the guy who lives below us came knocking at our door. So I opened it and this guy starts yelling at me and saying he is tired of hearing us jumping around and that he had to listen to it through 2 football games. Then he started cursing at my (and in front of Aiden) when I told him we had not been home that long and we were not jumping around! Then he goes on to say I need to give my kid a toy and control him better and that He was able to discipline his kid when he was little. I told him I can?t do anything bc my kid wasn?t doing anything wrong (we were watching a movie while H cooked dinner). AHH! It makes me so angry! I called out leasing office this morning to report it and she said she would pass it on to the manager to handle. This is just so frustrating!!!
Re: Neighbor Issues
We had our upstairs neighbor do something to us when we were in our condo. We told her to go ahead and call the cops, because they'd laugh at her for the lack of noise (was there noise, probably, but it wasn't coming from our unit). We also told her if she kept harassing us for non-issues, we'd call the cops and get a restraining order on her.
We ended up contacting the management office and they told her that if she had an issue to contact them - we never heard from her again.
Sorry lady, you bought in a condo, not a single family home. There's noise, and minimal noise at 3 on a Saturday afternoon is not something to get worked up about.
Hopefully your management can do something about your annoying neighbor.
