restaurant recommendations
Hey ladies,
I am trying to plan a dinner get together for my husband to celebrate him passing his professional engineering exam. His family is coming up to the Durham area to see a show and would like to meet up somewhere around there. I'm in Raleigh so I'm not sure what are some good restaurants in the Durham area. They will be seeing the show at DPAC. Is there anything around there? My husband isn't super picky and likes Mexican fare as well as a good steak. Any suggestions that aren't too fancy but would be nice for a family dinner out?

Great mexican place near DPAC is Dos Perros.
If you are planning on going to a restaurant close to DPAC either before or after a show be prepared to wait a while for a table. If it is possible to drive for a few minutes to get out of that area, I would highly suggest it. My suggestion is out Mez, a fancier Mexican restaurant off of Page Road. The food is really good and it would be a nice place for a celebratory dinner. You could also check out Brier Creek since it is probably 10 minutes away and would provide lots of options.
