My photographer drama continues
So right after I posted the other day I received an email from my photographer with the link to my photos from the wedding. Yay! Or kinda yay. The photos that I got are beautiful and I truly do love them BUT there are none, nada, zilch, zero from cocktail hour. Seriously there are 0! What the heck?!?!
We didn't go to our cocktail hour because we were doing our formals then, she had a second shooter that was supposed to be shooting but we there don't seem to be any shots.(I said that already I know)
What the heck do I say to her? I've gotten as far as..

Ok so not really but I have no idea what to say to this woman. She didn't mention anything about the disc or the money that we owe her so needless to say there is a lot of unfinished business.
Any guidance is welcome. At this point I am just kinda done. :-/

I thought there would be photos taken during cocktail hour by another photographer under your employment. Was I mistaken in this, or have you not finished editing those?
Etc. At least, that's the route I would take.
I'd mention that you don't see the photos from cocktail hour and ask if she's still editing them.
If there AREN'T any, I would negotiate a discount on the amount you paid for the second shooter.

Exactly what PP said. Keep in mind that your photos won't be perfect. My photographer sent me some where I have a really weird face and so many of my photos were ones with me with my eyes closed. But whatever.
Do you have your request in writing anywhere?
I'd just say something like...
Dear Kim,
I love many of the photos you took at our wedding; however, I am a little curious as to why there aren't any pictures from our cocktail hour. These were very important photos to us since we missed this part of our wedding. I was under the impression that your second shooter would be able to capture these special moments. Please let me know what the situation is concerning the cocktail hour photos, or lack there of, so we can discuss this further.
