Snow day
We got about 4 inches overnight and is suppose to get more. We got a snow day today and hoping we get one tomorrow, but am glad for today.

we got a snow day too! we were supposed to get 3-5 inches, but didn't get much at all. It's all ice. dh and I tried to go grab some chinese last night and made it about 15 feet from the driveway before we started to slide sideways into another road! he was able to use the 4 wheel drive to get it back to the house. we have so many hills in our neighborhood, we really won't be able to leave until it's melted. our tires were just spinning last night.
I won't even walk outside. I almost fell like 5 times just walking to and from the car last night. snow is a blast, but ice pretty much sucks. haha
it's supposed to be below freezing through the night, so I don't know if it will be melted by tomorrow. we may get another day off too.
it's nice not going into work, but I'll have to make up for the days later in the week, so it's not as much fun as usual.
plus dh has to work from home on bad weather days. it's kind of fun to be 'stranded' though.
all my friends in atl have been posting pictures of their snow. they got a lot too! I wish we were just a little farther north. A town a couple hours north of us had 9 inches!

We are getting a snow storm tonight and tomorrow, I cant wait!!!
I'm jealous of all your snow! We've just gotten some flurries.
Of course, I never really get a snow day...I still have to work. But at least DH would be able to stay home with me if we got a bunch of snow.

I love how you ladies get snow days with 3-5 inches. We are lucky if we get a snow day with 3-5 feet!
We got snow last monday - we got around 10 inches and I was at work. We are supposed to get another big storm on Tues night.
I am sick of the snow already.

My manager is really hoping for a snow day on Wednesday! I'm all for it. She has a 30 minute commute and said that if she's not driving she doesn't expect us to either. They are predicted 7-18 inches on the Boston north shore between Tuesday night and Wed midday/afternoon, with the heaviest falling during the Wed morning commute. Guess we will see!
People here are not use to driving in snow or ice and therefore cause wrecks after wrecks, so most places instead of putting their employees at risk they just close. I also think because we have backroads and hilly roads that it is hard to drive on them. That is the only reason I can think of that we get snow days.
I guess if I lived where you guys lived I wouldn't get snow days and I would be sad, as I love snow days.
