My H and I were laughing at all those crazies who rushed out to stock up on milk and water - and then realized that the last of the milk was used this morning haha. We suck at snow days.

I don't care what my office is doing. My street along with Boulevard are sheets of ice. Did they even bother salting the Highways? I look at Georgia Navigator in amazement.

There is no school tomorrow so I don't have to work. In town the roads are still treacherous. I would be surprised if I had to go to work before Thursday or Friday.

I heard on the news today that they are focusing on roads with hospitals and fire stations. I guess the forgot that it takes other roads to get to and from those places. Edgewood has Grady hospital, but it is still a sheet of ice.

Agreed. My DHs Co posted that they would be open at 10AM tomorrow. Confused He said No. I think not. There was no way either one of us was driving in tomorrow. His boss did just call a few min ago to tell him to telework.

We were closed today, but it's only 3 of us in the office, LOL. I am completely set up to work from home though, so it's really not an issue. My boss said not to try to come in until at least 12, but I doubt I will be doing that.

My work's weather hotline hasn't been updated yet. It never was changed last night either, so they must wait to make the call in the morning. Either way, I'm working from home.

I just called my work's weather hotline. They are asking anyone who can come in, to come in at noon. They said to contact your supv. if you feel it is unsafe to drive. Yeah... not with our little car. I'm completely set up to work from home as well. I just feel bad because it'll be yet another day of not getting info from my boss before he's gone.

DH works with the stock market (which obv. isn't closed) and has an auction today so he is freaking out b/c he needs to be at work today and tomorrow. I feel kind of bad for him b/c the pressure is all on him but it's not really safe for him to go...

Our apartment complex parking lot is a solid sheet of ice. The roads outside of our complex haven't been salted or plowed, even though there is a fire station on the street. And I just read this morning where they were trying to treat the interstates. Class was canceled again today. I don't know how I'll get to school tomorrow unless some of this melts. Neither one of us have 4-wheel drive, and we can't afford a new car!

I just got an email that they've changed their minds about opening the office at noon today. It makes me feel a bit better about choosing to stay home anyway. I feel bad for anyone that didn't check their work email before heading out.
