Good Morning!

Morning all!  We finished up Season 4 of Dexter last night and omgwtfbbq to the ending.  Now I have to find somewhere to watch Season 5.

Tonight is cleanup around the house and grocery shopping.  The downside of being hungover on a Sunday is that I don't really get anything done around the house.  Bad.

How is everyone today?

Re: Good Morning!

  • Good morning. I had a day of cleaning planned but now I'm not so sure.

  • Good morning! I somehow managed a work from home day thanks to having to take my car into the shop. But I was back home in an hour and now I'm doing laundry before I begin the actual workday at 10. Not shabby. Work was insane yesterday and will keep me busy all day today, so I'm trying to enjoy the quiet before it starts.

    Hope everyone's well.

  • Good morning everyone!

Raynes - I am super jealous. My next Netflix of Dexter should arrive today. I am hoping to get at least 1 or 2 episodes in, but we shall see.

Today is a busy day at work for me. I have to try hard to stay away from the internet. Tonight is Zumba and I can't wait. I stepped on the scale this morning, and I think all the weight I gained over Christmas and New Years is off plus a little more.  We will see when I officially step on the scale Thursday.

I am off tomorrow because we are supposed to be getting a big storm and since I have the time, I will be snuggling and getting some well needed housework done.  Hopefully will be able to get on to Nest a little tomorrow.

    Enjoy your days ladies!

  • I was still feeling gross when I went to bed last night and then woke up to feeling like crap this morning. I can't wait for these next few weeks to be over.

Today we have a huge conference on campus, complete with 100s of high schoolers running all over. It's swell.

Tonight I'm hoping to get to my yoga class again, but we'll see how I feel when I get home and can get in a nap. I have a feeling my couch will be calling my name much louder by then.

  • Hi all.  Just getting through the work day today, nothing exciting.  I'm aiming to take our Christmas decorations down this evening - I've completely been procrastinating.

  • Just the usual work day for me.  I have a closing this morning and a few agreements to get out, but things have finally settled back to a managable pace.  On a happy note, I slept super well last night and finally feel well-rested.

  • Good morning. We got a little bit of snow last night. Probably only an inch or two, but for some reason the plows decided that it wasn't enough to mess with so my drive in today sucked. We're expected to get another 4" throughout the day while I'm at work. I'm hoping that the plows decide to come out at some point today before my commute home.
  • Raynes: Love that season!  Totally took me by surprise.  Believe it or not Season 5 is even better!

ETA: I'm guessing it might not work in Canada, but I watch Dexter on sidereel.com.

I have so much to do I can't keep it straight. Emmett is sick so I'm guessing I won't get much done today.

  • I'm home again, still sick. If I'm still feeling crappy tomorrow, I'm going to go in, get my stuff organized for the rest of the week and then take it off.
  • Morning.  I went to the doctor this morning for a blood test to see if my hormone levels are going back down like they should.

What was a boss-free Monday has turned into a boss-free week, because his mother is not doing well.  This is sad news, but it means that we will get so much work done this week.

Other than that, I'm just waiting for it to snow and making a pile of work to take home in case it gets worse than they are predicting.

  • Have to agree Dexter is awesome! Which reminds me that I need to cancel Showtime until next season.

Tonight we are celebrating my birthday. Barry wants to be sure I get my day just in case the baby decides to make an appearance and we can't celebrate (my bday is 1/21, DD 1/24). So I get presents, fancy dinner and ice cream cake tonight...no complaints here!
