For some reason I woke up before the kids and just had this feeling like something was wrong. I checked my phone and sure enough I got a bad-news text from a really close friend. Her husband was attacked outside their house by 4 kids with weapons at 4am. I don't know what kind of weapons or what condition he is in right now. They live right next to the school where Gibson attends, so I don't know if I'll take him to school today. I haven't heard much except the police were called and he was taken to the hospital by ambulance.
If it's not too much to ask could you send him and his family some of those powerful Nestie vibes. I don't like to ask for vibes but these are really good people that have just run into some really bad luck the last few months.
Thank you everyone.

Me too. I've been trying to get a hold of her to find out what's going on but I can't get through. It's such a terrible thing to happen.

Oh my gosh, that's awful... and how weird! I mean, what are the odds of 4 kids with weapons being out at 4 am outside your friends' house?!? Were they trying to break in? How scary! Do you think there'll be news coverage?

So they found the guys this morning. The police had the dogs out and the chopper looking for the men involved. Apparently they are neighbors. They were all drinking and started breaking things in front of my friends' house so D went outside to tell them to cut it out. He thought they were breaking into their vehicles and next thing he knew he was being kicked in the face, hit in the head with skateboards, and being dragged down the street all while his wife watched from their porch.
He's still in the waiting room at the hospital right now but he seems to be ok. The police are waiting to find out the extent of his injuries before they will press charges.
Once again, proof that the power of Nestie Vibes really works. Thank you all.

I'm only a couple blocks away from their house. This is the quietest neighborhood here! It's such a close-knit community, but I guess this goes to show that even people you know are capable of doing something horrible to others.
I was at their house all day watching the kids and just helping my friend out. She picked her husband up and he does have a burst ear drum, he lost hearing from one ear and they don't think he'll ever fully recover. He doesn't look like he was in a fight, he defended himself pretty good without hitting any one of those guys. So he is at home recovering and is just more angry than anything.
Oh, the guys were trying to break into the school when D yelled at them, that's what started this whole thing.
Craziness.
Thank you all for your vibes and thoughts.

Oh I think he learned his lesson. I'm thinking next time he'll be thinking before he opens his mouth.
I just talked to my friend again and these 4 guys are for sure being charged with aggravated assault as well as assault with a weapon (the skateboard). Hopefully those punks learned their lesson too.
