anybody have a snow day today?
a ton of offices/schools are closed here today, but I just got a message from our bldg that we're reopening at 9. : /
we stayed up until about midnight watching the National championship. It was a crazy close game! Luckily, the right team won or I would've had to deal w/ a very upset dh.

By going in later I did get to catch up on one show on the dvr, cook the meat for tomigt so all I have to do is reheat and I baked some cookies.
Another snow day for me and DH. DH's office is closed again today, and my office isn't closed, but not much of anyone is in the office. We've been working remotely, doing what we can.
In the meantime, I've been working hard on getting the nursery ready! :-)
SNOW DAY!!!! woo hoo!!!!
I went to bed early (abt 9:15) b/c I was wiped out. I woke up at 1:15 a little worried b/c John was still at work. (I didn't know he was working 5-1, not 4-midnight) He finally got home about 2:45. He said there were a ton of accidents last night b/c the roads were really slick.
I slept until 8, so I feel so refreshed today! I think I am going to make some pancakes before the boys wake up. I have a little grading to do today too.

I made it in. Saw a 3 car wreck
I was verrry careful and didn't really have any problems.
It's cold here, but dry. Everyone's anticipating a "huge" snowstorm tonight, though. Some parts of Western Washington might get a couple of inches of snow. (Sorry...but that makes me laugh...that's not "huge" to me.) The morning news was suggesting that people ask their bosses now if they can leave early this afternoon. Again, not a single flake or even rain drop has fallen yet today.
I would love for DH to have a snow day tomorrow! The only way that would happen, though, is if they actually close the building (which they could, but probably won't). DH's pride wouldn't let him stay home for an inch of snow.

We watched the game last night too, glad your team won
But, I not gonna lie- I didnt really want them to win, bc of Newton and the thing with his Dad. Things like that dont sit well with me. And, when they won it was like they expected to- no smiles on their faces. Did they ever say who punched that Oregon kid in the face?! That poor guy, and whoever did it should have gotten ejected from the game!
Booo for having to go into work
my coworker said the guy's helmet was off and he got kneed in the face in the pile..on purpose. And then Fairley (who is a notoriously dirty player) grabbed that guy's facemask.
I'm not going to lie. I hate auburn with a passion, but I'm trying to be the bigger person and be happy for them. dh is always supportive of my team and I'm trying to do the same for him. I have a little hope inside that Cam's heisman and their national championship title will be taken away later this year when the NCAA finishes their investigation
